The No. 19 player in the class of 2018, 6-foot-5 combo guard Elijah Weaver of Oldsmar (Fla.) Christian, is likely to emerge as a breakout star this spring. Obviously given his lofty ranking he's not exactly an unknown as it is. Already holding offers from Nebraska, Louisville, Florida, Florida International and USF, things are continuing to pick up for Weaver. The bouncy and tough guard's high school coach, Jordan Fair, told Rivals.com that the interest continues to roll in. In the last week, Duke, Georgetown, Kansas and Maryland became the newest schools to check in on him. Look for Weaver to be one of the most heavily followed 2018 prospects during April's open evaluation period. basketballrecruiting.n.rivals.com/news/starting-five-final-four-picksJason is referring to Elijah Weaver, a top-50 guard from the 2018 class who recently narrowed his list of schools down to Oklahoma State, Miami, UConn, Florida, Villanova, Missouri, Georgia Tech, UCLA, Butler, USC, Virginia, and N.C. State. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/twitter-tuesday-priorities-at-pitt-and-cal-kentucky-s-next-great-pg

Mentions almost half of the Big East and pretty much every high major Catholic university except Georgetown. The 6-foot-6 small forward, who currently holds 16 offers, recently visited Providence for their game against Villanova. He already has been to Xavier, Creighton, Butler, Villanova and Boston College.Xavier: “I like them a lot; with Trevon Bluiett and J.P. Macura graduating my year, I can come in and play right away and get to the next level." Creighton: “They think I can come in and play right away seeing that I fit their system so well. Cole Huff is graduating this year so I could come in right into that role.” Villanova: “I like them a lot. They just win and get the job done. I shoot the ball very well, so they think that I fit their system.” Providence: It’s close to home and they think that I can be a day one contributor. Rhode Island is my place, so I just have to keep them under consideration." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/2018-four-star-swider-hitting-his-strideCorey Evans @coreyevans_10 Villanova is hosting 2018 top-50 @ttobasketball wing Brandon Slater for an unofficial visit today, per source n.rivals.com/content/prospects/609 … Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 Miami head coach Jim Larranaga will complete an in-home visit today with top-50 2018 @ttobasketball wing Brandon Slater, per source

According to a source close to the program, Georgetown will be hosting 2018 PG Curtis Aiken Jr. (N. Allegheny HS/Pittsburgh), 2019 SG Sherif Kenney (Rock Creek Christian Academy/Upper Marlboro), 2019 PF Jason Murphy (Chapelgate Christian Academy/Marriottsville, Md.) and 2018 PF Jermaine Harris (Rock Creek Christian Academy/Upper Marlboro) at the Phone Booth for Saturday's game A tough kid who always competes and plays hard, Jermaine Harris had a good showing at the Metro Challenge. He is a good athlete who can score down low and has long arms along with being a solid rebounder. Harris doesn’t have the best feel for the game, but he does give it everything he has, and should be someone who makes an impact early in college with his rebounding, toughness, and high motor style. Recruiting: West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Cincinnati, and others www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1766157-metro-challenge-recapCorey Evans @coreyevans_10 Cincinnati is in today for top-150 2018 @teamloadedaau forward Jermaine Harris, per source

Shareef O'neal In terms of other visits, do you have any upcoming? No visits that are planned yet. I'm going to try to get out to Georgetown. I'm still going to probably go to LSU with my dad and do that visit, so those are probably the next two. And what do you like about Georgetown? Georgetown, they just recently offered me like last year and I'm also going to go there because my dad, he always told me that Georgetown was his dream school. __________ Is it just me, or did everyone know we were Shaq's dream school? In terms of Shareef, that would be a significant development Committed to Arizona
