That ball was in the cylinder. Wasn't even close. Did the announcers even mention it? It was off the rim and it wasn't over the back.

Officiating was so unbalanced the refs should be embarrassed. They were very obviously protecting their darling #2. Without the refs keeping them afloat this game would've gotten ugly for them in the first half.

Agree. I'm not mad at anyone. Tremendous effort. Having said that, terribly disappointed. This game was there for the taking and would have been such a big win. This would have been at the top of the list all year - and in particular on March 8. IMO the turnovers were really the difference. Especially the silly ones in the 1st ten minutes. Great to have DSR back. A win tomorrow and this is a great tournament for the Hoyas.

Great effort for a team still learning to play together. Peak needs to keep being aggressive, he seems to disappear if he misses a couple of shots early. White will be a stud with a little more comfort. Maybe we can tell Hop to stay on defense, don't cross midcourt??

Wisconsin played last night also, although the early game. Our 3point defense was non-existent. yes. the bracket schedule punished the winners but we got punished more.

Hate losing, but proud of the team. They would have beaten most teams in the country today. Wisconsin has a ton of weapons, height, great outside shooter and plays very smart. We really needed someone to step up offensively, other than DSR and Josh, who definitely has an impact on the offense beyond his points. He does require a lot of attention and sets excellent screens. We will need LJ and/or Peak to become legit scoring options, since even DSR can't perform like this every game.

After the OT game last night I knew this game would be difficult to pull off the upset. DSR came up big and we definitely will be ranked if we handle our business tomorrow.

This game is really going to help us. Love it for us. Peak learned it's not easy and Paul white wow that kid has big brass ones. Paul White may be the best of the bunch, a complete player.

Apparently we are a 2-man offense again. Getting zero from the rest of the team. In a possession game down the stretch, every team goes to its best weapons. In this game, I wanted DSR to shoot every time. Just like every wisconsin possession down the stretch started with a pick and pop game with Kaminski and/or Sam Dekker. The last couple of minutes, sure. We had 2 guys on offense the last 8 mintues

That ball was in the cylinder. Wasn't even close. Did the announcers even mention it? They praised the player for being able to tip the ball in while on the back of a player but absolutely nothing about the goaltending or even that the over the back was possibly a foul. Yeah exactly. DSR was boxing him out and he just jumped over his back - that's why he didn't land on two feet because he was on his back.

Would have liked to see more of Tre. We just have too little offensive weapons, foul too much, and have silly turnovers.

As disappointed as I am. I look at this like the Indiana game 2 years ago. We are just as good as a for sure #1 seed in the tourney. Even better for this group because even the guys on the bench see how hard you have to play to be in that type of game. For Peak and White, they learned they have to get stronger and pay attention to detail.

Over the back and goaltending on the same play. SMH Good point. I meant to refer to dan's post about why the team was tired. Disappointing missed opportunity. Feel like Kansas is a little bit of a must win. But obviously the team played pretty good.

Let not be those guys who whine about the officiating. It was subpar, but it always seems to be subpar. Does that, in a perverse way, make it "par" because it's always bad? It doesn't matter. Although it hurts right now, this game will benefit us in the long term. We played the #2 college team in the nation even for 40 minutes. I'll take that.
This team will be a real problem for others to play come January. By March, this will be a lot of fun.

The silly TOs killed us. Also thought DSR should have shot more down the stretch.
