3 days of flu is sort of long, but I'm hoping that is what it is or nothing more. Good for Tre for pulling himself on Tuesday. Good smart player with great skills, we need him. But we need him well. You're the luckiest person in the world if you've never had a bout of the flu that lasted three days. I had a flu last year that was for full days of not sleeping for more than twenty minutes and then about another five if recovery.

Man I hope it isn't something like mono. That would be a killer. Main reason you gotta have more then two true guards on the roster.

Gotta be something serious or GU has handled this terribly. Can't believe they'd be so secretive for something like the flu or stomach virus.

It's been three days and six different prescriptions... Not fun! A Hoya win today would do wonders...

If its something serious then they are handling it perfectly. But if it is a cold or flu or stomach virus then just say so. No big deal and no big violation of HIPPA.

Its entertaining to watch this board spin out sometimes. I think the staff is handling appropriately, even if it means that fans and media don't know every detail about the situation. At some level, the situation is fluid and it's being handled accordingly.

KC, I actually wasn't pro or anti mono. You might be taking things a little too literally. I was saying that having more guard depth is good because......injury, illness, grades, foul trouble all happen and it is better to have depth at every position.

Just hope he comes back healthy and ready to contribute. His absence will be felt today. As frustrating as the school can be when it goes into "silent" mode around the basketball team, I have no problem when it involves the student's health or personal life.

No big deal and no big violation of HIPPA. I forgot. HIPPA has a section on "big violations" and "no big violations." Seriously, why are you so bent out of shape about this? He's sick. Who cares if its mono, strep, The Flu tm or the plague? He's not playing this weekend. He'll be back when he's back.

I hope you're not pro mono I was just commenting on the fact that the wording of your post made it sound like mono is the main reason the team should have more than two guards.

Well you are allowed only 13 scholarship players. So that's two per position. And then you have 3 left over which are usually given to guys who can play multiple positions. That's usually what teams do rather than have an overabundance of guys who can only play one position (center or point guard).
