I have to disagree with this. I support justice, and UNC getting off with a slap on the wrist would not be just. So no matter how much the wrist slap would irritate our friends from the great north, I hope that UNC gets what they have coming. I understand your position but would rather watch UNC get away with using the Warriors and sending them to tiddlywinks class if it meant those insufferable mouth breathers in Syracuse would feel an extra second of angst. I loathe them just that much... Agree 100%. Never forget. “Syracuse” meant “Syria,” and “basketball” meant “jihad.”

I loathe them just that much... Nailed it. Try living in upstate New York near ground zero GPA. Virtually every local sports reporter is a Syrapuke graduate. Extensive highlights of every Orangeboi victory, no matter how weak the opponent, but not a second of the losses - unless of course there was a controversial call that they can whine and moan about for months on end. And Magoo commercials. Mattresses, cars, whatever he can get paid for. Syracuse pain = My pleasure.

It won't matter what UNC gets in terms of penalties. Orange people will still view whatever sanctions as way too lenient because they still don't think their school did much of anything wrong. Best of both worlds: nail UNC and chuckle at the angry reaction of the finger painting champions of the ACC.
Which just gave me a new marketing idea for the Cuse. A publication entitled "Finger Painting to Fingerprinting: A Complete Guide to Your Syracuse Education" to be given to all Syracuse freshmen ballplayers as a part of their orientation.

A picture book I suppose, or will it come with someone to read it to them?

Has the Infractions Committee chairperson been booked into a 5-star hotel in Chapel Hill, with a stretch limo ready to pick him up at the airport, and a suspenseful tweet issued by the CarolinaBlue site hinting at a "Nationally Commended Athletics Advocate" as special guest for their Madness? Might be a hint as to the findings.

Be prepared to be underwhelmed...
Fix is in on this one.

As we used to say in the Navy, different spanks for different ranks.

I'll be a contrarian. All eyes are on the NCAA on this one, and it has to justify its oversight mission. I think UNC will get hit hard, and it will wind up in the judicial system.

Yes but if you gave a kid a hamburger cooked in the flame, then you have a problem...

Laughable, but not surprising in the least.

Laughable, but not surprising in the least. And the farmer defers to the fox to safeguard the henhouse... The NCAA just needs to go.
