Washington has a serious shot here, I'm told. They could actually win this one

Washington's main recruiting guy (their version of Broadus) is from DC. Relationships matter in recruiting

Say he does pick Wasington, I wonder if they also helped their case by telling him they will put the ball in his hands and let him play PG?

He'd certainly be the guy there from day 1. Getting Fultz may very well save Romar's job

UW already has a Freshman PG in David Crisp who's a good player and a Freshman in SG D. Murray who's another good player(if the staff had recruited him many folks would've talked about him being a big pg) on the team.. Fultz could/would fit in fine with them, no doubt.. L'ville only has Snider coming back next season and I don't think Pitino is exactly in love with him.. I'm sure the L'ville staff is talking up how dynamic a backcourt they could have with Fultz at the point, Mitchell at sg & Adel at sf would be.. Add in playing in the ACC too.. This is why I think it'll be L'ville..

I'm saying that it makes sense if we don't get the kid because we can't compete with the Kentucky's of the world, but this clearly wasn't a case of that, since we can compete with Washington.

Maybe you know UW better than I do but I've been there and can tell you there is a lot going on. Add some good coaching, which I don't know like others here, and it's a good sell. All the things we could complain about from an infrastructure standpoint don't exist there I'm shocked they don't do better.

The simple point is that we shouldn't be losing top tier DMV players to UW.
