Oh, ok then it is not relevant for this Damion Lee kid or the Va Tech kid. Great, go get'em Hoyas staff.

It reads like the provision won't go into effect until the start of next season, meaning players are immediately eligible for next season but not 16-17.. Maybe, could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it applies for next season. So a player like Akoy will have to sit a full year or wait until December to be eligible.. Grad transfer rules are the same of course But Akoy's medical waiver(I'm assuming he's done one) will still be reviewed for next season right? Then going forward the NCAA will no longer accept "immediate" eligibility applications starting in 15-16.. Seems strange to change a rule in during a calendar year but we are talking about the NCAA..

My take is there is an outside shot he could be eligible come Fall, but more likely not until late December. I wonder what that means for the Hoyas Italy trip? Not NCAA games. Hmmm..

Wouldn't Adam Smith from Va Tech be a better fit? We don't really need another SF.

Lee is a superior player. And can play in the back court, he's a natural 2 guard.

Other than the general chatter about who is available, does anyone have any info on who if anyone we might actually be targeting?

He would be eligible after DSR's departure. Seems likes a kid that needs a year to gain his confidence back (only shot 25% from 3 this year). Could be a good fit for us and we have the scholly to do it.

Gill? Yuck. I know he's supposed to be a shooter but he's shot 25% from 3 the past 2 years. Why would we go for that?

I was watching a youtube video of Agau in a high school 3pt contest. He has a nice stroke although he gets no lift on his shot(maybe because it was a 3pt contest). Definitely nice form on his shot, he looks the part of a 4. He also looks more 6-7ish.

Lee and Foster should be the priorities, plus the guard from Va Tech. No thanks on Gill, we already have one guy that's not good enough to play at Louisville, no need for a second.

Also, another concern is it looks like he would be in the same class as our 2014 recruits and Akoy. That would be 7 scholarship players in the same class, and that makes for a very unbalanced roster.
