Even though they've had some success last few years, the internal dynamic of that team/program has been very weird for a while now.....Between the Purvis transfer, Warren's tweet last year where he ripped his own coach and now Lewis leaving something is going on there....

I wonder if the Hoyas would be interested in Jerome Seagers from Rutgers. DMV guy we definitely recruited out of high school. All Academic Big East in his first two years, perhaps he's graduating early and would be eligible?
A couple sharpshooters available that might be interesting sniper choices include Abrahamson from Northwestern (Coach Hardy knows him well) and Austin Etherington from Indiana (eligible right away). Some speculation that Etherington is headed to Butler, as his dad played there.

Tyler Lewis was teammates with DSR on their undefeated Oak Hill team, so there's a connection there if the staff is interested....

I wonder what is going on with Ware. I love the way that guy plays. I wonder if his rehab has been going slower then he wanted or if he felt Pitino was focusing on others now.

Some speculation that Etherington is headed to Butler, as his dad played there. You don't want Seagers. He is now suing Rutgers, Mike Rice, Tim Pernetti AND Eddie Jordan; the claim against Jordan is that he "punished" Seagers unfairly by decreasing his playing time when it became known to Jordan that Seagers had hired a lawyer to sue the university. This is after he threatened to transfer away from Rutgers after the 2012-2013 season, and then came back. He comes across as a bit of a prima donna who has to be coddled. . .and the pending suit against Rutgers certainly could act as a major distraction. There are available alternatives without this baggage. Thanks, but no thanks.

Shows you how accurate Goodman is; Whittington bailed on his "commitment" to Rutgers weeks ago.

Would he fit in our scheme? Seems a little flashy for JT3, especially at the PG position. He is pass-first though and can knock down an open 3.....

Lewis is small and hasn't shot very well at State. He'd be fine as a backup, but he doesn't look particularly special in any respect. I have no idea how he made the McDonald's AA game.

A year to learn the system and play alongside DSR? He can hit open shots and get the ball to our future wings. I would take him then recruit a top pg who knows he can play over him.
