I tend to agree. Really didn't do anything of note on the court at Indiana and got in trouble publicly at least twice off the court. Only reason I'd give him a look is if it significantly helps with his high school and/or Team Takeover and if the staff was completely convinced that the off court problems are in the past. Even then, I'm not sure his upside on the court is worth holding 3 years of a scholarship for 2 years of play.

Which of these guys are fifth year seniors? Those are basically free of any cost for next year.
All other transfers must be judged against potential '16 recruits.

Also remember hardship waivers are no more.. Unless you are a grad transfer you have to sit out a full year as of a couple months ago...

Thought Robinson was slightly overrated coming out of high school and shouldn't have transferred to Findlay and what he did at Indiana pretty much backs that up. No thanks.

Agreed, but it seems to me like JT3 is very open to high major talents that may have to sit out a year. He's taken on Josh Smith and Akoy Agau within the past couple years, and obviously Ewing years before. For the right guy, JT3's willing to use a scholarship, if only for a couple years.

Except none of his transfers except Ewing had to sit out a full year. Vaughn and Smith got waivers; Agau left through half a season so he only really has to wait half a season.
I'm sure if it is the right player, he'd bring him in. There's just a huge difference in opportunity cost between the two.

And yet, you didn't do the google search. Because a Google search doesn't always tell the whole story, in fact, it rarely does....especially since he's a local product.

Can't say I'm interested in a career 3/26 3 point shooter

@goodmanespn: Virginia Tech's Adam smith is transferring. Should be an in-demand guy. Eligible immediately.
Great long range shooter. Shot 43% from behind the arc this year.

Probably wants a chance to make the NCAAs in his final year and he is not going to do that at Va Tech. Smith should be a priority target for Gtown, hopefully he will give III and staff an opportunity to make their pitch.

Freshman year highlights..
