I don't agree. He just needs to have a natural progression and shore up the jumper. He was an NBA athlete from day 1. He's fast becoming an NBA defender and he gets to the basket at an NBA level. Saying that he has a lot to prove to me means he wasn't already progressing that way, and that's not accurate. Scouts have liked him almost from the moment he's hit campus. From what I've been told, Copeland has more to prove to scouts than Peak does. I don't agree with you re Peak, but agree that Copeland also needs to prove himself all-around. Peak is a great athlete, but he needs to prove he's a more consistent player to leave after this season for the NBA. He is ready now to play in some international pro leagues. Btw, I hope you're right because it means we went to the FF or better, and Peak led the way along with DSR. I don't agree or disagree. Just passing along what I've been told from NBA guys. From multiple people I've spoken to - and honestly I was surprised by this - Peak is the most desirable prospect on the roster. I would've thought it would be Copeland.

Interesting. Then ones I've spoken to were more aware of Ike. Hopefully they'll have a great season and be in every NBA person's target list.

Also important to note Seventh Woods is now 55, down from 31 before this update.

Not surprised, but thanks for the update. In all honesty, I think both of them have a lot of work to do before they are likely to make a roster in the NBA. I know there are other factors at work, and the NBA is not the only game in town, but I think they can both get there with good health, hard work, some good luck, and enough time to develop.

40-55 is probably just right for 7th......Thought 30 was too high for him

Would be nice to land one of Woods, Brown, or Jones. I guess those are our top 3 ranked guard prospects out of the class of 2016. Day Day Bracey being ranked below these guys.

IMO we will be able to tell what the staff's thoughts are about whether Peak will be leaving after this year or not. If the staff is lucky enough to signs 3 guard/wing type players (Mosely, and 2/3 of Woods/Jones/Brown or unknown guard) in this class then you would have to believe the staff will get Peak ready for the NBA. The staff did the same with Otto going into his sophomore year. We were one scholarship over the limit the whole season until Porter announced his NBA intentions.
That being said, I think we get 1 more guard to play along with Mosely who I think can become a stud if he learns to be more aggressive. Mosely's has unbelievable physical upside but needs to play with more aggression. He can be very passive at times.

I'd like to see the staff start trying to build something with this kid.. He's been mentioned on the board before but I couldn't find the thread and the search server for the site is down..
He's a 2015 Baltimore kid who left the area to play at Sunrise Christian last season, he also committed/de-committed from Colorado State.. He re-classed to 2016 and is prepping at Brewster this year..
I think he may end up helping himself a lot by playing in the NEPSAC this season.. Definitely worth a look imo..
ESPN has him as a 4* kid, 3* on Rivals & Scout
ESPN Analyst Updated 09/01/2015
Strengths: Keyser is a physically gifted combo-guard who can impact the game in a number of different ways. He has a terrific basketball body with good size, length and athleticism. He's very comfortable with the ball, snaps his passes around the perimeter and very capable of sliding over to the point for stretches. He's a high level driver off the bounce who also has a dependable pull-up game from 16 feet and in with a high release point that allows him to score over top of smaller guards with ease. He's got solid footwork on the perimeter, is quick off his feet as a finisher and also a potentially very good defender.
Weaknesses: Keyser doesn't shoot the ball consistently from the three-point line - that's always been the Achilles heel to his game - and is much more consistent in the mid-range area off the dribble than he is a catch and shoot three-point shooter. He can over penetrate or try to do too much with the ball at times and is consequently not quite the big pure point guard that is sometimes advertised.
Bottom Line: Keyser is a very talented guard who has all the physical tools to compete at a high level of college basketball and must only play within himself on a more consistent basis and improve his three-point stroke to take his game to the next level.

Utah is recruiting Keyser very hard. Doubt he will be uncommitted past November's early signing period. If he is, he could blow up (in terms of options) like former Brewster Academy Guard and current Kansas player Devonte Graham.

If I were advising him, I'd tell him to wait until the spring time to sign.. I think Being at Brewster will help him elevate his game a lot plus he'll get to play in front of so many HC's and assistants.. He's more Donavan Mitchell than Graham to me but I get your point H4ever..

Etomic I agree with you 100% in terms of he should wait until the spring to commit because that will open up a bunch of options for him from the exposure he will get at Brewster. I just know Utah is coming really hard after him. I was using Graham as an example of getting a ton of exposure from reclassifying and playing at Brewster his senior/prep year that lead to HM offers and him committing to Kansas, not a skills comparison. I really don't know to much about his game. He looks athletic on highlight videos.
