He certainly appears very athletic with a strong, college-ready body. Seems a little like Peak in that he may have the ability to compete physically from day 1 on the college level, but may have to work on his other skills. Looks like a good prospect; I'm glad we got him on campus. Mosely is #19 in white.. This clip filmed at the recent Oladipo cam, it's not of him but he appears several times.. I don't have any worries about his ability to pass/handle the ball, needs to improve as a shooter though..

I can't see UVA being a big contender considering they have Kyle Guy & Ty Jerome already in the fold for 2016.. Plus Perrantes will be a Sr & Devon Hall who played a good amount last season will be a Jr., that's a full backcourt for his freshman year.. Harvard is high on his list mainly because he likes the idea of being close to his brother who plays for BU.. I think the staff has a very good shot if they offer..

G'town wasn't even mentioned so it's a good look that the staff got him on campus.. zagsblog.com/recruiting/jagan-mosely-to-cut-list-after-live-period/

Keyser has visited G'town in the past, he's a 6-3 guard(more shooting than pg)but he's considered a combo kid by some scouts..
He de-committed from Colorado State after deciding to do a post grad year @ Brewster Academy..
Might be worth keeping an eye on, I like post grad kids..

Staff has a great relationship with Brewster (where Copeland and Derrickson graduated from). Agree, this could be an interesting one to watch.

I think it was Mosley that I read his parents both went to and met at UVA so he has been there a bunch and likes it there.

Brewster might very well finish second in NEPSAC, that Putnam Science team is freakin loaded. Gtown staff might want to get up there and check out some prospects (Eric Ayala, Sedee Keita, Hammidou Diallo, Chuba Ohams, Saul Phiri, Ryan Murphy etc). Hoyas have shown interest in Ayala who recently re-classed to 2018
Would love for them to get in on Emannuel Umoffia, 7'1 2018 kid from Nigeria that is raw but loaded with potential...
No glamour and glitz here just hard work in the gym trying to get better. Always fun to refer back to these videos in a couple years to see the progress made. Obviously skills are still developing but as he gets stronger more coordinated all that skills training will start to pay off. Kid will be a beast by the time he's a rising Senior been compared to Myles Turner...

My priority list of back-court kids who the staff has targeted would go as follows.. I didn't put D. Hunter on my list cause I think he's gone the way of Markelle Fultz..
Bruce Brown, Curtis Jones, Jagan Mosely, Myles Powell, Zach Norvell & D. Bracey..
Brown & Jones would be perfect in my view but Brown & Mosely would work too..
is it possible the staff will take 3 guards in this class?

I hope D. Hunter hasn't gotten out of reach. He was talking Georgetown in every interview non stop in June. He reportedly even visited at the end of June. If were not in the running for Hunter, I think it will have been because we waited to long to offer. I wished we would have offered during the early part of July versus waiting until August. That being said, Hunter's recruitment is all over the place. Any one know what he said in his interview with Hoya 247? I'll keep the faith until I here otherwise.
IMO, any one of Curtis Jones, Bruce Brown, or Jagan Mosely would be a great get. I think Brown is the most talented of 3 but Mosely has the biggest upside. All 3 are great fits JTIII's ever evolving offense. But if it were up to me, I would want a combination of Hunter, Bracey, and either Sacha Killeya-Jones (I know he is a long shot), Banks or any of the previously mentioned combo guards. I think the ability off the bounce of Bracey and the versatility of Hunter mixed with the rest of what we have coming back in 2016-2017 would keep us playing at a high level.

I like the thought of a Brown/Mosely backcourt; athleticism and defense. Powell and Norvell can shoot, but I worry about their defense at the next level. I really want to see us improve our on-ball defense. At first it seems farfetched to think we'd take 3 guards in the class, but the more I think about it the more I believe it might be a good idea. We only have three guards on the roster, and there's a decent possibility two might not be here next year. 3 guards in one class is not ideal roster balance, but it beats having no depth at that position.

I think the chips are going to fall into place really quickly now as recruit realize there are limited slots (Jagan Mosley having taken one) and they see the new facility under construction. (You can already see the size and 3 story height of the women's basketball court). I really think the new facility will put us over the top as that was the one factor in the past that we couldn't match with other schools.

So what bigs are we actively recruiting right now? SKJ, Diakite, Miller, and Jethro have committed to other schools, and it seems like we're not really in on Delaurier. Do we have any shot with Azubuike? From the outside looking in, it looks like Banks might be the only big we're currently in on.

I don't think the staff will push hard for a big until the spring, if at all for 2016.. There seems to be a crunch on scholarships right now.. Despite popular opinion to the contrary, there's a pretty good chance the team will only lose DSR & Hayes.. If that happens and they land a sg there will only be 1 scholarship left for 2017.. Either way the picture will be much clearer next spring imo..
