Kansas State is on a 20-5 run to go up 7 at Texas Tech with 4 and a half minutes to go. Need them to close this out.

Yeah, looks like KSU and Xavier are both going to win. That's big.
After that game, I don't see any logic that has SJU ahead of us.

Xavier (last 4 byes) and Minnesota (first 4 out) win. Dayton (first 4 out) and St. John's lose (last 4 in). Missouri (last 4 byes) is currently in action at Georgia.
Tomorrow's bubble games of interest:
Richmond (first 4 out) @ George Mason Tennessee (first 4 out) @ Mississippi State Nebraska (next 4 out) @ Illinois

St. Johns is pretty much all about the BET. One top 50 win and only 5 top 100 wins. Best OOC win is San Francisco and best road-neutral win is at Providence. They're 2002 Georgetown. Regardless of standings, they're behind the other bubbles.

According to Wally Sczerbiak on the halftime show on CBS Sports net: "Crushing loss for St John's. Have to win the BET to get in"
I find it laughable that some consider Providence to have a better resume than we do

St. John's, like Georgetown this year, is just really inconsistent. Their outside shooting isn't great. But, when they're on, it opens up a lot for them. And, when they remember to run, run, run, they get lots of easy buckets. On their good days, they can look really dangerous. On their bad days, they can look REALLY bad offensively. On the days they look bad, Harrison is usually trying to get his with little success. I had to work but I'm curious, did Obekpa play? Was Sanchez back in the lineup? Obekpa at 100% means a lot for that squad.

Obekpa did play, but not too much. Less the 20 mins. Sanchez played as well. SJU just stunk when I was watching. Credit Xavier's defense, I guess.

I think after last night, Xavier is pretty much a lock and that's probably a better result. They stay a top 50 team that we crushed, SJU doesnt get a quality win, and the picture become a little clearer that its us, Providence and SJU, with Marquette one loss away from being done. I know there are other bubble teams out there, but it's really an uncanny close call between the BE teams. Of course, this is all Wednesday talk. After tomorrow, it doesnt matter much if we dont win.

Thanks hoyainspirit. I was going to ask my coworker about it this morning but I just didn't have the heart. He looked none too pleased. Then again, it's early in the day yet....
