haha Mike I know what you did when you did it ...I still spoke to you and joked with you..I never knew you anyways you were always jealous of me for whatever reason...as to why I moved I think that's my business, and check this out I'm a great area to cheer and save my team, so your point? LOL It's amazing how one thinks of something and how they influenced someone else's decision. Mike, I'm still the #1 Gtown fan according to JT3, but it's all fun for me all dedicated to my son, a dream, a dream to be a part of something I thought I'd never be a part of ...Gtown...I love working at the JT3 school teaching the game of hoops...I'm glad you decided to have your "keyboard coming out party of information that was well know the moment you so called "snitched." Who said anyone was a traitor because they don't agree with me? LOL ..I haven't even been on here, I normally just come on here and post my blog. I mean I know you're getting old and everything, but this senile thing with you I just don't know...Mike, I don't think you know what forgive means, because I forgave you when I found out that you snitched on me, I still spoke to you, you just put your head down and limped around the Verizon Center like you lost your best friend. If you wouldn't act like you do and make these bogus comments about what I do or what I've done, I probably would speculate or think some of the things I do about you. You're like a light switch off and on off most of the time, but when you come on it's THIS... so who you call now about my tickets and where I sit and you know what I am in the Verizon universe ... LOL Im' such an easy target to pick on...so this means you take advantage of someone's kindness for a weakness...I'm glad these people really see what type of person you are...and you wonder why...smh ...I'll keep my head and keep it moving and keep doing what I'm doing best...people like you make me rise up more and more Mike...keep up you're doing great...stop drinking beer and driving lol... If SkyHoya responds, please do not respond back...this is personal issues...someone has to be the bigger person and walk away.

I'm glad you clarified this, and no Mike, I don't take everyone's criticism as racist, so it seems to you. Now, why would you come back and say something about Rev. Jackson. although he's right along with anyone else who truly knows what's going in today in America with racism, but this is not the time, nor place for this, but we can talk about this with civility Mike. Right, I did mention this to you earlier about how we were cool then all of a sudden you took a turn for the worse especially against your friend Spivey, shucks, Mike, it started with you two fellas. I didn't know ya'll from no one. Whatever you and Spivey were dealing with that was on ya'll. I didn't know Spivey. But it seems whatever it was you took it out on me or maybe you were jealous of where I sit/sat. It's either both or that. Take your pick Mike. Mike, I wasn't born yesterday. I have to much going on my life to let a miserable person for whatever to try to interfere with with it. I have my boundaries. I'm a very nice, respectful, considerate and thoughtful person, it's why I still continued to speak with you after I found out you stabbed me in my back for no apparent reason. Don't worry I'm taken care of because of this as you can see. I'll continue to pray for you, I don't know if you knew but to see you and Spivey not speaking to each other is crazy. I don't know what went on between you and your friend, but I don't have nothing do with the bull. It's why I keep to myself because of bull shid like this...It's like I'm minding my own business and here's this old dude stabbing me in the back the whole damn time for no reason, his own reason. Man, that's pure evil...I'll pray for you but don't want anything else to do with you ...I looked up to you as big brother for the little time I've know you. I still would shake your hand, but you've shown your true colors Mike...that's not good at all...You don't know me or even of me...

Somehow, this mess of a thread is cheering me up after last night's pounding. If the thread gets locked up, which seems likely at this point, I hope Glide and Sky will PM me the rest of their argument. I especially want to hear more about this bus trip a few years ago. It's like your superhero/villain origin story.

I didn't really know the fellas but I was appreciative of the ride up and back from NYC...

Glide, I, for one, enjoy your posts--especially during Kenner League. My point is that you can't take things personal when responding to folks on this board. Just keep in mind: "People who put others down don't feel good about themselves." Thanks for the insight into the reason and history of your blog. It helps explain your dedication. Keep up the great work, bro. It was funny, though, because when I saw the arms outstretched to catch Bowen in the stands I actually said to myself, "That guy must be Glidehoya." Appreciate those kind words and you're right this really motivates me to continue my journey for my son...

There's a lot of overreacting to one game. Yesterday's game was fairly simple: they were super hot from outside, and when a team that's naturally athletic and good at driving is hot from outside, they are hard to stop.
Then, when we went to make a run -- every single time we made a dumb mistake, usually by the frontcourt and often on defense, where none of them could seem to gauge the proper time to close on a shooter or play back.
We had a lot of chances to win this game, but couldn't get stops. We really need to get more than 0-3, 4 TOs and 4 fouls out of TEN minutes of our starting center.
It doesn't mean we can't make the NCAAs or go one a run. It doesn't make Lavin a good coach that his team was hitting from three yesterday.

Does anyone hope that St. John's makes the NCAAs this year (obviously, not if comes solely at our expense)? They look like they can make some serious noise there if they get in and the Big East could really use all the NCAA success it can get this year (plus a good St. John's is good for the Big East). Definitely looking forward to rooting hard for every Big East team in the NCAAs (since I haven't decided on which team, if any, I want to use the Boeheim exception on). In a way I do. If i were neutral, I'd like St. John's somewhat. I think 'Cuse would have a loss to them and to GU at least if they were still in the Big East.

I thought when GU cut it 7, you say 'hey, markel...' then point to your brain (i.e. be smart)... ok, seton hall.

Cuse did play St. Johns and beat them, albeit in a close game. I do think Cuse would have a loss or two in the BE, but not to us or the Johnnies. Probably to Creighton and Nova who have the ability to light up that zone from outside....

It was 7-0 and I thought our defense hadn't played that poorly. And then the sloppy, sloppy closeouts started. It was the "just enough so I can't recover, not enough to be disruptive" hesitation in our defense that was maddening. That's not talent or inexperience (Mr. Glue Nate was a repeat offender) and that was why I was upset. Hop not finishing on offense is basically as surprising as a sunrise at this point. But not contesting confidently...just no excuse for that. It's still just a road loss to a good team but it's really late in the year for four returning starters to play defense the way they did.

It has to be because we were outcoached or because we were tight. Similarly, it couldn't be that a team with very few scorers was unable to cope when one of them fouled out. It has to be because we folded or got punked.

I felt like we were on the cusp of learning about what really went down with Spivey. hm

Have to admit, SJU could definitely end up in 3rd place in the bE. They already beat CRE and have a pretty favorable schedule down the stretch. Of course, the hallmark of SJU has been their incredible inconsistency, so who knows.
