We adjusted our offense to account for Josh's strengths and weaknesses - then suddenly we didn't have him, and had to readjust. I think the team was a little confused and panicked at times. We are learning who we are, and I feel a solid Hoya effort coming tonight.

GU is playing a ton less Princeton principles and more pick and rolls and posting up of their guards; Disagree. I saw more backdoors vs Butler than when we had Josh was playing. They came from different angles and different players than before, not from the top of the key. I liked it. The offense looked more fluid. But, the key for the offense was the penetration by Markel, DSR and Jabril. DSR showed off his handle in tight quarters in the middle of the lane and then either popped a 7 footer or penetrated. Tonight I'm looking for Markel to correct his 8-pt performance with a huge 20+ pt comeback game. IT'S FEBRUARY!!!!!!!!!

Big game tonight baybee! What can you say, this season went off the rails for a couple weeks, felt like it was over before it started. Now, on the heels of some tough losses when we played pretty well and clearly stuck together, a big win over Sparty, and the seeming emergence of an actual team identity, it's time to go off. Tough and physical inside with Nate, Hop, Moses, solid and often spectacular play from Markel and DSR, and the x-factor, my man Jabril, this team can be good. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, and the fellas, but, something special could be brewing here. Keep that mutha rolling!!!

So far a nice start. Playing hard, boxing out and taking good shots.

Both teams shooting over 60% thus far.
Thankfully we haven't hit one of our 5 minute scoring droughts...............yet
