I don't feel either better or worse. And, yes, I thought it was completely civil. I still find it hilarious that you're OK with the shorter rotation in the one game the Hoyas have won in the past 6. I guess the coach knows what he's doing in wins and you know what he's doing wrong in losses? You're entertaining. I'll give you that.
I favor the rotation that gives us the best chance to win right up until the point that everyone has thrown in the towel. I haven't seen enough of Hayes to make an evaluation one way or the other. Then again, I could watch him a whole bunch and would still take the opinion of a staff of good coaches over my own in terms of whether or not he's ready to contribute. From what I've seen of Hayes and Domingo (exceedingly little), they aren't ready to contribute and I know that's not a fair assessment due to lack of sample size. I also know that it's a chicken/egg thing. That said, the staff sees them play over the course of months. I'm fairly certain they're well equipped to make those decisions and I'd even bet that there's some discussion amongst the coaches to get differing opinions. They're employed to win. To think that they're not trying to do that, to a person, is counterintuitive. I'd be willing to bet that JT3 has thought about the reasons for and against playing both kids. Fact is, they're on the bench for a reason. Hayes got spot minutes when Moses was suspended. That's not a change in philosophy or belief. That's a change in necessity and personnel. Do I wish we had more serviceable depth? Of course. But that's on both the staff and the kids. It's not poor coaching. It might be poor recruiting to a degree which, maybe, you term poor coaching. To me, poor coaching would be to put unprepared guys in a situation in which they'll likely fail after having (possibly) not recruiting as well as they could have. Insult to injury. Again, I haven't seen enough of either guy to say one way or the other. From the little we have seen, Domingo isn't the shooter (yet) that he is supposed to be and Hayes doesn't look like he's gotten it on either end yet.
