Is there anyone who thinks that South Carolina has any chance to win this game? This is a team that has proven to be a total crap-out away from their friendly confines. I think the Twerps win easily. Too bad it wasn't us, as I think we could beat the Twerps at MSG.

Hopefully it'll happen against the Cocks, but their road record is just so pitiful I don't see them beating the Twerps unless the Twerps choose to suck like in the Clemson games

Maybe Odom talked to Purnell or watched alot of film.

You know, normally you would think putting the words "12" and "cocks" in the same sentence was just wishful thinking

I have to pull for the Twerps in this one. We're enemies for a night. GO COCKS GO! As the chant went at the Colonial Center on Thursday. One side of the arena yells.......GAME......other side yells.......COCKS!!!

They were trying to shut down sales of all licensed materials that said Cocks on it instead of Gamecocks and then they realized how much money they'd lose on sales of the hats thay just say cocks on them - all those HS kids and reports that they sell well in certain circles.

I also forgot to mention this is one of the games with 2 teams I hate so my preference is for the meteor to hit MSG but if I had to pick a team to lose it would be SC.

Come on, SC will be forever mediocre in basketball.
Root for the Terps to lose so that it helps Georgetown regain dominance in the area.

And on a neutral floor, we would have blown the doors off the cocks on a neutral floor! Damnit, why did we have to go into the Colonial Center, that was a deathtrap. This was the perfect chance to beat the Twerps and gain local power.

This was the perfect chance to beat the Twerps and gain local power. Yeah, but that's life. I wrote after the SC game that it was if nothing else a useful experience for next year in the conference. Because with five new teams and five new (mostly tough) road arenas to play in, there's going to be some games where we think: "wow, that's a deathtrap". But when you play in a tough conference, and you aspire to bigger things like many of our fans do for next season...then that SC game, where we were up 8 at the half in front of a partisan crowd...that's the kind of game that we're going to have all the time. And need to put away in the future. Mark my words, at some point next year, we're going to be in the same position as we were with 20 minutes to go in Columbia. Except it isn't going to be a kind-of-full Colonial Center. It will be a raucous Pavilion, RAC, Carrier Dome...perhaps Freedom Hall (not that we didn't take care of business there last time ;D). There's no such thing as a "neutral floor" in the Big East--especially since GU fans finally outclassed and better outnumbered Irish fans at MCI this year.

I understand your point and its a great one. One thing though, the Colonial Center may not have been sold out but it was pretty damn full and about as loud as you are ever gonna get, that is for sure. That place was deafening.
