What is Domingo shooting? The knock down shooter is guaranteed when they move up a level in terms of competition. Some kids can get shots up against smaller, slower high school comp and they may not be able to adjust. If a kid has decent mechanics, that should be all that matters. The coach makes a couple million a year for a reason. Domingo shot 2-18 on threes last year, and 1-9 this year. Clearly, the kid was talented at the high school level. I really don't know what has happened to him, but if he hasn't been able to figure it out in 2 years, I don't think that's anything you can blame the coaches on. I am sure they would love to have a knockdown three point shooter on the roster.

Just go ahead an offer the young man, I don't think he'll commit on the spot but if he does so be it...

basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1626206His overall skill set needs to improve probably why coaches are hesitant.. He could turn out to be a little better AB or a lesser Vic Oladipo you just don’t know. It really depends on if his ballhandling and shooting improve. High level athlete who should be a lock down defender on the next level though

As of now, Reaves has offers from Villanova, VCU, Temple, Penn St. and Boston College with interest from Maryland, Georgetown and Oklahoma.
With a big spring and summer on the horizon, Reaves has a few areas of his game he'd like to improve on.
"Just be more vocal and work on my ball handling and my shot consistency. I've been working on that. Coach has me playing the one during camp and it's helped me open my eyes and see how people can get open and just what I can do to help the team more. And just making my shot more consistent."
For now, Reaves is focused on the upcoming AAU season and hopes to make a decision at the end of the summer.

Excellent news; thanks for the legwork/notice, Deacon! Actual tweet link below. Quite the number of local guard offers in the '15 class out there now (Montrose's Trier; Gonzaga's Crawford; Paul VI with both Franklin and now Reaves). twitter.com/jreaves_23

Two questions for those in the know...... Between Reaves and Howard, who is the better player and who is the better player for GTown?

Two questions for those in the know...... Between Reaves and Howard, who is the better player and who is the better player for GTown? Howard's been hurt, and Reaves just made the jump this year, so it's hard to compare. Probably Howard in both cases, but it's close. Also, attitude wise, I'm taking Reaves every day over Howard.

Does this show the staff's hand on how they feel about potentially landing Mann or Bacon who are I would think are higher on our board?

I also see two guards being a must for 2015. I really like Reaves but, IMO Allonzo Trier is priority. As for the SF, I kinda like Esa Ahmad, Ray Smith and Dwayne Bacon in that order. I think Esa is better suited as a SF, rather than the PF which he's currently listed, and a mismatch coming in at 6'7 220lbs.

Unless one of the incoming freshman is one and done we don't need another wing. Derrickson, 2 guards and 2 C is what we should be shooting for.
