so just for fun, would anyone like to speculate on whether adding DelaRosa and Mourning would be enough to raise our class rank? If reports are true - i. e. that tweet the other day and the various reports about Trey being a GU lean - our class would be
Copeland White Peak Campbell Delarosa Mourning
something for everyone in there really

How did Xavier lose 11 spots?

I never expected the Big East to be able to recruit like this. Some of it may be a mirage (is Isiah Whitehead staying more than 1 year?), but that's impressive.

How did Xavier lose 11 spots? I expect their individual commits dropped. We jumped 8 spots because Peak, Copeland and White all leaped up the rankings.

Very "interesting" list....Mudiay at #1?? Not much love for our recruits either: White at #63, and Peak at #87 and they have actually dropped him in the rankings lately... I know rankings don't mean everything, but this list seems out of step with all others.

Still trying to figure out why I pay for a sub tbh Rankings are subjective but 86 kids better than Peak? What has he done besides drop near 40 a game to drop in the rankings? Who in the world thinks Dion Wiley is a better prospect than Paul White? He’s also ranked behind Cody Martin who he destroyed when they played Oak Hill. No big deal either way but after the top 20 or 30 kids it’s like they they just select random names in no order

Yeah, my main gripe regarding Peak is that there is no way he could have had a better season than the one he is having now. So how is anyone justified in dropping him? It is one thing to not put him in your top 50 if that's the way you legitimately feel about him. It is another to drop him 8 spots after his fantastic season. Which guys who jumped over him have had better seasons than expected like LJ? Which of the guys who have remained ahead of him have had better seasons? Fortunately though in the end none of it matters. All the counts is what the players do on the court.
I will give credit to the site however for not sucking up to Duke's recruits like ESPN does.
Let me add I love the Hoyas' class of 2014 recruits. There may not be another program other than Kansas whose recruiting class I would trade the Hoyas' class for (in terms of talent, upside, potential, versatility). I don't even think I would take Duke's class over ours although if Duke gets Myles Turner that's a totally diferent story. How about the rest of you guys? What recruiting hauls for 2014 would you take over Georgetown's?

As for your question, Kentucky has some great talent as usual but not sure they fit our system better than our recruits. I think this is cheating, but my answer is Providence's bigs to match with the rest of our recruits.

Does Copeland have a shot at McD AA? Has that already happened?

They already released the rosters. The only Big East recruit named is Whitehead. 4 Duke, 4 Kentucky and 3 UNC. No surprise. 3 Chicago kids since it's in Chicago.

Copeland was ineligible because he's a 5th year player.

To be fair, Okafor and Alexander would be McD's AAs in any year no matter where the game was being played. Ulis is more of a case for a conspiracy theory, as I don't think he'd be nearly as highly ranked if he had picked Michigan State or Iowa instead of Kentucky.
