Corey Pegram @coreypegram 15h 2014 Benedictine guard Robert Johnson has picked up new offers from Villanova and Duquesne per @hatfieldsports. Impressive at #EYBL
I think Jay Wright would play a 5 guard offense if he could...

From Dave Telep's blog post on player's who's stock has gone up this spring.. • Team Takeover 2014 wing James Palmer (Washington, D.C./St. John’s) is another late bloomer. Wake Forest, Temple, Xavier, Towson, Greensboro, Radford and William & Mary are interested. The wide range of schools is an indicator of how he’s being evaluated in the spring. • Junior wing Mikal Bridges (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) is Team Final’s sleeper small forward. St. Joseph’s offered early and so did George Washington. But they’re about to have company. Tennessee, Florida, Georgetown and Temple are all interested -- as they should be.

Interesting topic from Telep's blog post..
Insight into a coach’s mind
Last weekend at the Hampton EYBL, I was sitting with an assistant coach from a BCS-level team that won a conference title this year. We started chatting about evaluating players and the difficulty in recruiting guys from when they blow up to when they sign.
This was a coach who works at a major school, though not a blueblood. Coaches who don’t wear the Duke, UNC or Kentucky logo often find themselves rooting against their recruits to play well. Why? They don’t want the recruiting traffic to pick up.
“Someday I’m going to be at a place where I can actually root for the guy to make the shot,” the assistant quipped. If this was a high-major assistant thinking that way, imagine what a mid-major coach goes through while he’s watching his No. 1 recruit and high-major coaches are sitting to his left and right. Agony -- sheer agony. So you wind up rooting for your recruit to actually miss shots.
What category do folks think G'town's staff falls into?
I believe they're rooter's not hater's....

"BCS level team that won a conference title this year." Hell, that might be a quote from one of our staff members.

Future150.com @future150 30m Carlton Bragg is one of those kids who you watch for 3 minutes and understand how special he can be. So much skill in that frame. #RunNSlam

I'd prolly flip flop some names, especially E. Robertson. We've had an in home, he's visited and been to a game; I'd say that's high interest.

This list is hot garbage!! I like what I've seen & read on Riley Norris out of Alabama but there's no way possible he should be ranked ahead of Isaac Copeland let alone 20 places higher.. Ditto goes for Brandone Francis too.. Phil Booth @ 106? Crazy imo..

i95ballerz.com/story%20-%20reebok%20dc%20classic%20run.htmCJ Keyser – 6’5”, 175 pound, Class of 2015 swingman, Patterson Mill HS (MD) – A high flyer, Keyser was the best finisher at DC Classic Run. Loves to run the floor. Showed he can guard all the perimeter positions and find people. Must illustrate an ability to shoot from the outside. Reportedly can do so, particularly spot ups, in streaky fashion. Villanova and Georgetown have shown interest. Sylvester Ogbunda – 6’10”, 220 pound, Class of 2015 center, National Christian (MD) – Having only played basketball for a few years, Ogbunda is carving a niche for himself already; he likes to do the things more experienced big men seem to shun now, including rebounding, defending, rim running and playing with energy. He does not have the bad habit of a big attempting to a guard. Given his game, Ogbunda will have to get stronger, as well as develop a go-to post move and then counters, as his future is in the paint, and Sylvester knows it. Boston College, Syracuse and Georgetown have shown interest, amongst others.
