DSR needs to continue to take it to the hole and take shots after contact. Would really make him a weapon.

Why are we playing full court press with our starters in with 5 minutes left in the game up by 30?
I haven't seen us play this much press all year....we didn't even need it.
Coach, develop the bench. I am not sure Lubick, Porter, Whittendon, and Starks should have played at all tonight.

I'm glad we used this to work on the press, it will be another weapon for games where shooting is off or we are playing a shorter team.

39 shots for the starters, 22 for the bench. 6 bench players have seen time. Hayes and Bolden conspicuously absent.

Again, I have yet to see any good half-court passing from anyone in the top 7 besides Lubick. So no, this game does not prove we are a good passing team. And it's Longwood. OK I won't argue that our bench players seems to be better passers than our starters. Probably because guys like Bowen, Moses, and Lubick have all been playing in the system longer and have developed better passing skills. Porter, Whittington, Trawick, DSR, and Hopkins just aren't there yet. Hopefully it will come, but until then we will have to rely on our defense creating offense like today, shooting bailing us out, or hope teams play like Longwood. Today hopefully will give us some more confidence, which I think helps develop a better offensive flow. Our half court offense still needs a lot of work.

Fortunately we have a 2 week break to practice the offense.

We win, soundly, and a couple of people still find RIDICULOUS things to complain about.

and somehow, it's on SNY. I realize this is Longwood and not the highest-interest game of the year, but this is a good illustration of why being connected to a football conference helps. Is there any chance these games would be on TV in an A-10 type basketball conference? No chance. Good point. The fact that I was able to watch this game on blurry ESPN3 in my San Francisco apartment is a good thing.

Well, we sucked again at free throws and 3 pt shooting. But I know what you mean. ;D

We scored 89 points is everyone happy? No? Of course not. Don't be silly. We wouldn't be Georgetown fans if we didn't have something to complain about.
