How much longer can teams sign players to contracts from the D-League? Obviously I believe that all 3 of our Hoyas there are playing excellent and deserve a shot. Are players in the D-League restricted to only their NBA counterpart teams?
Any news on what the Celtics are doing to replace Rondo? Agree that I wish the Knicks would cut someone to pick up Henry.

I'm not aware that there is any limit, as my recollection is that teams have signed players from the D League near the end of the season. Maybe my memory is faulty.

Celtics are playing well right now, and Danny/Doc have said that they're in no rush to add anyone. They've been opposed to the idea of adding someone just for the sake of adding someone, but if a need for depth should arise, I could see them signing another ballhandler. At the moment though, the situation seems to be under control with Bradley, Lee, Terry, and Barbosa.

Ha Yabs. I was all set to get to the Iowa roster from the link and confirm that they are the Bulls affiliate and then ask an ill informed question that if Lumpy is playing this well and Rose has said he'll see us when he sees us, would the Bulls consider taking a 10-day look at CW?

I hear Dajuan has been tearing it up in the D-League.
I still think he should have stayed for the 09-10 season. I really think we could have won it all.

Not too sure but I think if he does get a call up it will be from a non playoff team. They seem to be more inclined to add a washed up vet than a talented rook..

the Knicks need to cut James White and bring up Henry. Not before the dunk contest they don't.

The real Chris Wright was named a D League All star replacement today.

DaJuan Summers scored 28 in 24 minutes in the D League All-Star game.
Sims and Wright each scored 15 in 19/18 minutes.

Chris shot 3-4 from three and dished out 7 assists, while Henry snagged 7 boards to go along with 3 steals. DaJuan would have been MVP had his team won, or at least come close. Representing well in the D League. Hope they all get call ups soon.

Dajuan was on the team hat Henry and Chris were on. He was also on the losing team. If his team had won he would have easily been MVP.
I did like to see Dajuan giving both Henry and Chris encouragement even though there were on a different team.
Also it was comforting to see that the D League All Star game is just as exciting as the NBA All Star game; i.e. not exciting at all.

That first play was a shot-sheet error. That was Shelvin Mack to Chris Wright, not DaJuan.

Even understanding that All Star games are not renowned for their defense, the highlights seemed to feature Washington Generals' level defending.

As is normally the case with all star games, the D did get somewhat better in the fourth qtr. Somewhat.

I was going to say that looked like a Globetrotters performance.
