Lets not under estimate our opponent, this is how you get bitten. We have to take all our opponents seriously, the reason this team is coming to MCdonough Arena is because they won like we did. I remember similiar post like this before our 5 game slide at the end of the regular season. We cant take any team lightly, I hope the guys play them, like they played UCONN in the BE TOURNY. Just my thoughts

DJ continues his hot shooting ways and the Hoyas win, 70-58. Hibbs makes a big defensive presence

Hoyas end CSF's season and allow them to go back to their surfing. Hoyas 70 CSF 55 It's a long way, and a bunch of traffic from CS Fullerton to the Ocean, so surfing is probably not their primary activity. Not that I'm overlooking the opponent, but should we be fortunate enough to move on, I am dying for a UNLV matchup, if for no other reason than to have an excuse to go to Vegas. Any tips for last minute hotel rooms Nevada?

The renaissance begins- Hoyas 70, CSF 55. 16-0 holding opponents to 60 or less.
McD will be a sellout- the waitlist for $20 tix is very long. I'd rather see more students there though!

If the students show up - GU 70, CSF 54
If the students don't show up - GU 58, CSF 56
Anything short of a max capacity student section is a pathetic embarassment. Like the Miami Dolphins failing to sell out playoff games.

GU - 32 , other team - 8 when game is called due to back wall falling down from the combination of crowd noise and a thundering dunk by Jeff Green.

Does JT3 have his golf cart?
If so, Hoyas 1,753; CSF, -12.

Cal State Fullerton - $32,001
Georgetown - $32,000
The Hoyas come up short by 1 when CSF out-bids them in Final Jeopardy...
Both teams were able to come up with the correct question for this answer...
"This team has the worst NCAA tournament winning percentage at 0-9..."
'Who are the North Carolina A&T Aggies?'
I laugh to keep from crying...

"Hoyas Humiliate Hyphenated Hoopsters"
Georgetown 68 Cal-State-Fullerton 41
Anyone who goes into Corvalis and emerges victorious should be respected, but without their key guy and after a 6 hour flight... well I can see shades of 1993 UTEP all over again (can we arrange for a traffic jam on Key Bridge?)

Cal State Fullerton 85 Georgetown 77
Justin Burns (JB2) plays the game of his life, Bobby Brown hits 13 3's, Jermaine Harper hits 12 3's and plays lights-out defense, and Titans' Washington-like speed leads to the upset.
I'm hoping here. Without Ralphy, it's going to be tough. We have more players on the injured list (five) than on the bench (three). And our bench is a guard who sees sporadic PT (but scored a big basket in the win over Utah State), a big stiff who once fouled out in four minutes, and a nice enough forward who played 18 minutes all season, including a couple after we opened a 22-point lead on USF.
It's not that far to the beach. Newport or Huntington would be closest, and because we're a commuter school, students come from everywhere, including the beach areas. (I finished up at CSUF while living in Long Beach, which isn't a surf city because of the breakwater.)
If the NCAA had surfing, and everyone did their best to compete (c'mon, Hoyas, grab your boards!), I think the Titans would be national powers, right up there with Hawaii, Hawaii-Hilo, San Diego State, UCLA, Pepperdine, USC, San Diego and UC Santa Barbara.
Couldn't compete with the SoCal JCs, though.

Oh, by the way, there are NO hyphens in Cal State Fullerton, no matter what the ill-informed national media would have you believe.
