www.newenglandrecruitingreport.com/news/article/3500/Final-2014-Rankings-Announced.phpI n 2014, the top ranked player in New England is actually making his debut in that spot. Isaac Copeland had a phenomenal season for Brewster Academy, all the while demonstrating tremendous long-term potential and the ability to make a quick and important impact at Georgetown. He shot up the national rankings to finish 15th overall in the ESPN 100 and sits atop our region as a result. I hope Jabril & Adams show the young kids the how to work in the weight room this summer.. Still a big fan of Bonzie Colson but you can't have them all Some of you all may not agree with this but Jabril needs to past down his nastiness to these incoming recruits. Fearlessness may not show up on a stat column but it does win games.

5 star on Rivals now… Some of the more notable movers in the Rivals150 follow: Kentucky-bound point guard Tyler Ulis finishes as a five-star prospect after moving all the way up to No. 21 from No. 33. Also making a move into five-star territory is Georgetown signee Isaac Copeland, a skilled 6-foot-9 power forward who rose to No. 23 from No. 37 sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/rankings/rank-2993Paul White 50 LJ 68 Tre 126

Looking good, hope we can get out in transition for him to show off some of those dunks. The winner Iziahiah Sweeney sure had some hops for still being an uncommitted, 6'2" SG.

Small writeup from the July 2014 Issue (No. 179) of Slam
MORE THAN COPING
By Franklyn Calle
Coming off an impressive AAU season in summer 2011, Isaac Copeland’s stock was the highest it had ever been – and the looming high school season was only supposed to increase it. He’d waited two years at Ravenscroft (NC) School for this opportunity. But then weeks before the season’s start, a fractured growth plate in his left knee changed it all.
“That was supposed to be my breakout season,” says Copeland. “That entire season I really had to get mentally tougher. That injury definitely set everything off for me.”
After missing most of his junior season, Copeland decided to reclassify. He left home to attend The Miller School in Virginia the following year, before transferring to Brewster (NH) Academy this past season.
Leading Brewster to a 33-2 record and the National Prep Championship after averaging 15.6 ppg, 7 rpg, 2.4 spg and 2.2 bpg, he earned Gatorde New Hampshire POY honors.
Having decided on Georgetown the morning after attending their last big East regular-season game against Syracuse in March 2013, he’s set on bringing back the tradition. “We have a lot of history,” he says. “And after how this year went, I want to bring that back.”

Very well said! It's all about winning! And I am glad to see Copeland and the others are uniquely aware of the need to get that back.

College Hoops Hype @collegehoophype 17h @adamfinkelstein can I get an explanation on why Isaac Copeland is the number one player in NE, because I have him at three
Adam Finkelstein @adamfinkelstein 16h @collegehoophype played at high level all season, continuing to get better, & great long term upside.
College Hoops Hype @collegehoophype 14h @adamfinkelstein you don't think Goodluck has better long term upside? He was a monster at W&MA and will be the best player at UNLV
Adam Finkelstein @adamfinkelstein 14h @collegehoophype no I dont
