As I read it, GU is full for both this coming year and the next. So if Meeks, Agau, or Peters wants to commit, will the staff cut somebody loose?

There is no way the staff takes Peters right now. Agau and Meeks look like they're the guys we've focused on, since we're looking frontcourt.

Agua and Meeks would be a great class. The scholy situation will clear itself out. The 3 yrs that I have been following this board has taught me that.

Jerry Meyer has Roddy as the 16th best player in his class and the second best point guard after Harrison. If the staff agrees with that evaluation, Peters could well have a commitable offer today.

And Meyer is the only one who thinks that. He's not any more of a lead guard than Jabril. He's a typical PG county combo guard.

He's a typical PG county combo guard. And what is that?

He's a typical PG county combo guard. And what is that? More of a scoring guard than a lead guard. Quick, undersized, slashing two guard. See: Woods, Percy and Creek, Mo.

Before his injuries Mo Creek was a monster. Hope he gets healthy.

Yeah Mo Creek is something to aspire to be. Peters is bigger though.

Before his injuries Mo Creek was a monster. Hope he gets healthy. But that's not the comparison. I'm not saying they're equal in talent, just the style of play. And Peters isn't a lead guard anymore than Jabril is a lead guard. The staff wouldn't/won't take Peters. Agau and Meeks seem to be the two that we'd take right now and then let things figure themselves out, based on what I'm hearing.

Yeah and the issue is you're insinuating that being a typical PG combo guard is a bad thing. And that's incorrect.

I don't even think the Hoyas will have 13 players on scholarships THIS season.

Yeah and the issue is you're insinuating that being a typical PG combo guard is a bad thing. And that's incorrect. Everyone here seems to be under the impression that we want Peters because he's a PG. I don't think the staff is pursuing him very hard, no matter how much people here think he's a PG, because we don't care about positions. Hart was ahead of Peters on the board for guards, and we're not taking him. The recruiting right now is frontcourt, exclusively, unless the Harrison twins or Rysheed wants to come (which they don't).

Just cause we don't have set positions doesn't mean we lump all guards into one category just a little reminder. And PG=Prince George's in case you were a little confused.

POD is probably right about Peters being behind Agau and Meeks but taking that out of the equation, if Peters is a legit 6’4 than even if he could only play off ball that’s still good size for a SG.
Usually Combo’s are undersized SG’s that are trying to transition to the point but lack the playmaking instincts in the 6’0 to 6’2 range. We’re talking about a 6’4 kid which to me makes him more intriguing.
Either way Peters =DC Assault = Curtis Malone = Under Amour = Maryland IMO

He dropped us, so I'm figuring we're not pursuing him or Peters very hard right now.

I like the clips of Agau, he looks like he has a very nice skill set that could be productive right away in college. He also looks to be an above average physically. I really hope the staff doesn't take another "project" big by getting Meeks. The team has enough already in Moses, Adams, Hayes & Bolden.
