Red square tmrw ...gotta love the students! And we DO love those... students! Resourceful young folks they are. BTW, we also NEED Crawford. He isn't just a "nice to have". He's probably the top rated local kid, JT3's been on him for years, we stayed on him through his injury year, he's taking a while to get fully back to speed. And, every box I see he fills with Dimes. Exactly what we need. Lots of folks didn't want Markel, didn't want Campbell either. No one wanted Wallace, except maybe as a walk-on. I am hoping Crawford commits this weekend with all the festivities and NBA Hoyas around. Great time to be a part of the family. BC must have gotten some time to play with the incoming frosh in recent months? And should get more this wknd, plus maybe Greg, Otto, Jeff, et al? We need to make BC feel wanted and important and a part of something very special. Now if we could ALSO get Dozier? I'd be almost as happy as JT3 and blueandgray! Sounds exactly like a room without a roof to me!

I agree with SirSaxa. We don't need BC to be the man on our team. But we do need him to do what he does well and that's making the game easier for his teammates. BC always makes the correct pass and his teammates end up with wide open shots. Plus he is a local kid. It would help the pipeline tremendously if either Crawford or Campbell has success at GTown.

Met him at SMU while he was visiting their and drunkenly persuaded him to go to Gtown. I tried. Nice kid, though.

A little more optimistic now. My issue was that he's known the program and our interest for a long time and has always been cool to us. I think being on campus yesterday and seeing AI might have changed the outlook a bit. If you had asked me two days ago I woulda said Wake Forest for Bryant but now I think we're right in the mix.....

I have the strong feeling that AI could still tear up the Kenner League if he were ever to lace 'em up.

Seems like its down to 3 schools. The Hoyas, Wake and SMU. Tennessee and NC State seem to be off the board now. Looks like it will come down to Wake and the Hoyas.

Thanks, B&G. Wake has an energetic new coach in Danny Manning who is looking to hit the ground running. It should be interesting.
