True, and for anyone who's watched us this season, this is obvious. The only reason we're still alive in the Morgan hunt is because of the freedom allowed Otto this season. However, I think the operative word in the statement above is "more". More isos for players like Morgan/Copeland and less of whatever JTIII wants to call our base offense these days.

Coincidence that he is announcing so soon after JTIII's conversation with mom?

Hope we can get this kid and at least two guards as we need some guard depth after Markel. Not all kids can come in and play in year one and we've got to have more balance in all of this.

At least UNLV flamed out of the tournament as well. However, the Rebels are the only game in town and their players are worshipped. Never have to push for crowds to attend the Thoams and Mack. Also, the new CBS contract with the MWC guarantees his family can watch the games. That said, I still think that the Big East will generate much more attention and be on at a more reasonable time for national viewing audiences.

Georgetown has made up a lot of ground but would still surprise me if he chose us.

I guess that’s one way to look at it. It also says “if he committed” implying it’s exclusive to him. Personally I think this is happening regardless of Dwayne and is just part of the natural evolution of the offense we have been seeing for a couple years now..

I'm still hearing unlv leads but hoyas have a shot. "Having a shot" has not worked out too well for us the last couple of years.

From somebody in College Park who would know regarding Terps chances:
"Not happening, not a big loss."

Yea, the Maryland fans seem to think he isn't coming "barring a change of heart." I think it'll be UNLV, but seems we're option #2 and have "come on strong at the end."
I can go either way on this one. There's not a lot of video out there of Morgan doing anything that really wows you, but seemingly all the scouts think highly of him and the consensus seems to be that his best days are to come. I think I'd personally prefer to go with Bentil or Lattin at 4 next to Copeland at 3, rather than Morgan at 3 and Copeland at 4. But on the off chance he commits to us tomorrow I'll welcome him considering JTIII allegedly pushed hard for him in recent weeks.

I realize we've been thru a tough stretch and that reflects poorly on JTIII, but someone is going to pick Dave Rice? UNLV got dunked ona bunch v Cal too, and Bennett didn't do a whole heckuva lot.

Remember Roscoe Smith is there along with Daquan Cook too so I think it's a Baltimore connection for him there..
