Most points he scored in a game at Alhambra was 15. And he had four boards against a small MSJ frontline in that game.

Luxury? Do you people think we are Kentucky? If any top 50 H.S. player wants to commit to Georgetown you take him no matter what the position. We are not at the level that we can turn down a top 30 player in the country. Not many programs are. I don't think Morgan is one of the top 50 players in the country. Don't recall anyone seeiking your opinion on the matter. Get a life.

zagsblog.com/articles/dwayne-morgans-hoops-blog-no-2/Counting down to the days of my commitment I’ve been doing a lot of research and been talking a lot of things over with with my mom. I have to say this is gonna be a tough decision for me. By far the most important decision I’ve had to make in my high school career. And as expected all three schools have greatly stepped up their recruiting. At first UNLV was leading the way, but Maryland and Georgetown have made a great jump and evened the playing field out greatly. These next couple of days are gonna be key on my commitment. UNLV

Fwiw www.runrebs.com/2013/03/20/words-with-fans-birchs-role/@grome78 What’s are the chances that UNLV lands Dwayne Morgan? @runrebs Morgan recently cut down his list, and UNLV is in the final three, so that’s obviously a great sign. Maryland is believed to have something of an inside track just by virtue of being the hometown option (Morgan is from Baltimore), and Georgetown was a late addition to his list. It actually reminds me of the just-completed Jermaine Lawrence sweepstakes, in that the player is considering two schools close to home with UNLV as the lone west coast option. In Lawrence’s case, he chose Cincinnati over the Rebels. If I had to rank them right now, I’d go Maryland—UNLV—Georgetown. We’ll find out for real when Morgan announces on April 5.

Seems like a pretty fair assessment. Of the 3, I would also probably put the Hoyas chances, at this point, as third place. If he wants to stay local, he'll probably go to Maryland. He obviously loves UNLV and has seen how Moser/Bennett have done there, so sees a good fit. Georgetown makes a ton of sense given Otto's success and that it's also local, but with Copeland already on board, I don't see this one happening for us. Would love to be pleasantly surprised...

First I'm thinking whoa. Then I thought, well they actually already did that with Otto but a lot of kids and media don't pay attention and just say we are using the Princeton. So this is lip service. Strategic and intelligent but really not a huge change.

Yes, we already do this, but very few teams play us man to man.
