Classic case of Memphis being out-sleazed by Kentucky. They were almost able to spell "basketball" correctly! So close...and yet, so far.

Classic case of Memphis being out-sleazed by Kentucky. Nobody does it better than Calislimy.

In all seriousness, and snarky comments aside, I think that while most of observers hope/ hoped that Skal would attend their school of choice, most folks also hope for the best for this talented young man. And yes, if tigerj's recent prediction comes true, it is a great reminder that there is virtually NEVER a lock when it comes to recruiting. So, at the end of the day, what's tigerj's final, final prediction? Can he still get out of the "lock to Memphis"?

It is what it is. Calishadi must laugh at these newbie guardians during the kids' recruitments. He's seen it all and by now can finish their sentences. Only one person dictating terms...

In fairness to tigerj, he did back off of the Memphis lock last week, when he announced "UK" in this thread. He has been consistent as to Skal-to-Kentucky since November 5. That's a pretty good streak for tigerj.

I thought that he was going to UK all along. Calishadi is losing probably every big except Lyles and Lee. Johnson, Towns, Cauley-Stein and Polytheses are all leaving barring injury.

Imagine the "resources" he is amassing for Rabb!

That's a pretty good streak for tigerj. So in the end he 1)spent months calling Skal a Memphis lock 2) Abruptly changed his "prediction" to G'town 3) Switched back to Memphis being a lock 4) Predicted UK when the writing was on the wall Memphis was out 5) Intentionally irritated the crap out of everyone along the way Well at least it was mildly entertaining

What if Skal blows the lid off the whole thing and commits to Georgetown? That would be hilarious.

This forum will absolutely crash if Skal commits to the Hilltop.

and then it will crash again when he is found to be ineligible to play in the NCAA and tigerj will come back onto the forum to troll other HT nerd ragers

Gerald Hamilton isn't fit to be a guardian.
Just saying his name makes me want to go take a Hamilton right now.

He wasn't fit to be a guardian when Skal was a lock to go to Memphis. Why wasn't it an issue then?

Hamilton wanted every program Skal considered to pony up money for his foundation.

Either way both Georgetown and Memphis will be ok even without Skal. Both still have quality classes in the top 25. Hamilton is Cal's head ache now

He seemed slimy before and after he was a 'lock' for Memphis. This only seems to bother you now that you lost out.
