6-9 forward out of Houston who is playing overseas at the Canarias Basketball Academy in Spain listing Georgetown interest. Was ranked 21st by Espn before he went overseas www.therecruitscoop.com/khadeem-lattin-adjusting-to-a-new-lifestylerecruitsnationwide.com/meet-class-of-2014-forward-khadeem-lattin/"RN: How has the recruiting process been so far? What schools have you received offers from? What are some of your top schools? Lattin: I have offers from all three of the big Texas schools. Also, Memphis, USC and Arizona. But, we have talked to a lot of other major schools and had serious conversations with them. UNC and Georgetown are always in my changing top 10."

I saw him last summer and he played with Justise Winslow/Melvin Swift etc....on the 15's who contended for a 17U title at Best Buy event this past Summer. Loaded with talent--and that city is just sick with talent for next 3-4 years.

Seems entirely appropriate that the grandson of the Big Man on the first All-Black team to win the NCAA Championship would go to Big Man U to join the son of the first Black Coach to win the NCAA Championship. To tell you the truth, now that I look at it that way? Seems inevitable! Keep those 6'8- 6'9 athletic forwards coming to GU!

In Scout update today, Lattin mentions Georgetown, Baylor, Texas and Texas A&M. He has this to say about the Hoyas:
"The school outside of the state of Texas, Georgetown, also really appeals to Lattin, and a lot of that has to do with their style of play.
'That would be almost ideal for me because in their offense everybody handles the ball and everybody plays on the perimeter so I think that would help me a lot to grow as a player,' said Lattin of Georgetown."

Wow, looks like somebody gets it. What does his hair look like? Is there any way it can be altered to show his school choice?

The coaches of the other schools will make sure that they disabuse him of this notion.

Khadeem Lattin (Houston Hoops 2014) – While Lattin’s stat line of 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots doesn’t jump off the page, his ability to neutralize Moses Kingsley was huge for Houston Hoops in their morning win. He altered plenty more shots to go along with those 4 blocks and really made everything in the paint difficult for the Wings. Lattin showed a developing 16-18 foot jump shot which could transform him as a player if he can gain consistency with it. Khadeem Lattin (Houston Hoops 2014) – Lattin has taken one of the most unique paths of any high school prospect in memory after spending the past season at Canarias Basketball Academy in Spain. Because of the course work he’s completed while overseas, Lattin now has the option of becoming a member of the 2013 class or remaining in his original 2014. He is unsure of which option he will take but will have plenty of college options whichever year he enters as Georgetown, Baylor (offer), Arkansas, Arizona (offer), Memphis (offer), Texas (offer), and Texas A&M (offer) are all in the mix. Lattin is looking for a school that can develop his perimeter game and turn him into a combo forward instead of remaining planted in the post as he often does now. www.nbebasketball.com/w3/2012-0721/2012-peach-jam-report-day-iii-part-a/

Brenden Padilla @bpadilla3it's early in recruitment but at this moment 2014 Khadeem Lattin has 3 schools at the top: Arizona, Georgetown, and Baylor.
NorthstarBball Alex Schwartz RT @jeffborzello: Khadeem Lattin still deciding between 2013 & 2014, but one school is coming at him the hardest. "Baylor, without a doubt."
