Shabazz may play tomorrow against Indiana State. I believe Tyler Lamb is still out, but he may be the only player missing from the UCLA lineup against us.

I'm almost sure that's only for practice.

yeah he's only allowed to practice for 45 days. They would forfeit any game he played in if the NCAA decides he's ineligible.

Thanks for that info. So he clearly won't play.
Further note on Tyler Lamb - the UCLA team preview in today's LA Times said that Howland is hoping that Lamb will play tonight. So we may see him, but unlikely that he'll be at full strength.

Now Seth Davis' article makes it seem like he can play during that 45 day period. Which seems really weird to me if true. It's also obviously risky because you would have to forfeit any games he plays in if they do rule him ineligible. Also do we know when the 45 day period started for him? Presumably the latest it started on was MM. If so he's on day 29. He would just barely make it to the Georgetown game on day 39. But that's assuming he didn't practice/participate in anything before midnight madness.

Lot of conflicting stuff, but this is right from the NCAA:
12.1.1.1.3.1 Temporary Certification.
If a prospective student-athlete reports for athletics participation before the student’s amateur status has been certified, the student may practice, but not compete, for a maximum period of 45 days. After this period, the student shall have his or her amateur status certified to continue to practice or to compete. (Adopted: 1/9/06 effective 8/1/06, for all final certifications for student-athletes initially enrolling at a Division I or Division II institution on or after 8/1/07, Revised: 11/29/09)

that was what I thought allenixis.
I should've known that if Seth said it. It had to be wrong.

Anyone else know anything about tickets shipping? Emailed the ticket office and haven't heard back.

I received an email. Tickets will not be sent out until next week. Via FedEx. I am not happy. I need to find a buyer for two tix and would like to find a Hoya. They are making this harder.
