We better win; don't want any of court rushing on us. I hope we are up for this game; players might be weary with a 2-day turnaround with traveling much of the time in between. Seems they flew to Chicago last night after the game. Plenty of time to rest up. Need to come out sharp and end all hope for Depaul early!! I would say that was the best option.

Interesting statistic from the Pre-Game Report:
"From 1948 through 1972, no Division I Catholic school had more wins in men's basketball than DePaul University."
What was the winningest team before 1948?

I think Tarik and the Post have generally given us very good coverage this year. We're playing freaking DePaul today. Simmer down, Lic.

The Post had a half pager on the back of Sunday's sports sections dedicated to Nate. They generally don't give gtown bball as much love as the twerps, but it's definitely a lot better nowadays with Tarik covering instead of the dreadful Tracee Hamilton.

Tracee Hamilton is dreadful, but she didn't cover the Hoyas (I don't think). Before Tarik it was Liz Clarke, who's moved on to covering UMCP.

Yeah, Tracee's a columnist, a bad one, and prior to that, an editor. She's never worked as a beat writer for the Post. (Given the general quality of her columns, I have to wonder if she ever worked as a beat writer or journalist for any paper).
She will write about the Hoyas from time to time, but not on a regular basis.
Liz was not horrible, but Tarik is many orders of magnitude better.
I can't remember who covered the Hoyas before Liz though. It was another woman, but I remember her as being pretty good,* even though that is relative when everyone is compared to the gold standard that was Barker.
(*Keep in mind, I have a worse long-term memory than a blonde, tattooed Guy Pierce.)

Yeah, it was Camille Powell, and before her, I belive Ken Denlinger was the Post Hoyas beat writer.

Might as well ask the sun to stop shining. Or the Orangeboys to stop hitting women.

These are the games you gotta win. The Blue Demons will defend their home court. A road game after only a two day turnaround. We have talked all year about the youth of the team, well they should be able to handle this no problem. GO HOYAS!!! Beat Depaul.

Just take care of business and move on. We're an elite team facing an also-ran, that's the way it should be. Crazy things always seem to happen in the Big East, especially on the road, but this one shouldn't be too trying. Knock on wood.
