So Roy has NBA 3 range...still a pretty sight when the big guy shoots a 3.

Steve Kerr speaking truth tonight.

Steve Kerr speaking truth tonight. Not to get too off topic from Roy, but it just seems that Hill, George, and Granger are a little too redundant in their skill set, at least offensively. None of them seem to pass well, and they all settle way too often for 3's. The only time they give it up on the pick and roll is when Roy or West are still really high in the post, where Roy really has no choice but to pass. Plus they seem really careless with the ball. It looks like West and Roy are the best passers of the starting five. But then again, I'm not sure who on the bench would be better to have out there starting. Not sure if it's a result of the Heat D, but the Pacers just looked really lost last night.

I agree with what Larry Bird said about them.

Roy needs to be more agressive...he'll never be an all-star unless he calls for the ball. I disagree. I think he needs to be more aggressive. Can't be aggressive without the ball! smh

I agree with what Larry Bird said about them. I respect your opinion but that is far from the truth and just like LeBron said he's just trying to pump his team because they are down...they didn't play soft last night their coach once again failed...poor coaching...a starting line up that doesn't include a point guard...I Collison is not all that but he's a point guard and has vision and a pretty smart player...

How can you play soft with one of your best players injured and your coach not properly coaching. Come on let's be real here Vogel got outcoached one again for the second playoff game in a row...the Indy fans were all over this guy...he hasn't a clue when the Heat turned it on...he's still coaching as if it weren't the playoffs...listen to his press conference after games...the questions ask to him he cannot properly answer...

With Hibbert on the floor this series, the Pacers have outscored the Heat by 30 points; when he has been on the bench, they’ve been outscored by 17. On the floor - 94 points per 48 minutes. Off the floor - 71 points per 48 minutes. On the floor: +26 rebounds. Off the floor: -7 rebounds. Poor coaching! Vogel is suspect in the playoffs!

That was his second foul - right at the end of the 1st half. The Pacers need to learn how to make an entry pass. A 7th grade team could do a better job of getting the ball to Roy. Roy needs to be more agressive...he'll never be an all-star unless he calls for the ball. I hear you but Roy is calling for the ball his hand is up and he's yelling for the ball...he shouldn't have to always call for the ball that's what true point guards are there for they are suppose to have this vision!

Well, someone has to do it. I hearby end glide's run of consecutive posts at 8. This must shatter the old record, previously held by lic. And believe it or not, I do so to add that there is more than a grain of truth in glide's comments. Actually, I think there is truth on both sides, but there's no question that Vogel has crapped the bed in this series. Even Mike Brown thinks he's doing a bad job.

Even Mike Brown thinks he's doing a bad job. People listen to what Mike Brown says? For real? MOD NOTE: Further commentary on the coaching prowess or lack thereof of the Pacer's coach (or any other NBA coach) will be moved to the NBA thread in pro and college unless it is specifically about a NBA Hoya.

Not that I want to be argumentative, but the crummy job done by Vogel in this series directly impacts our man Roy. So I think that's fair game for this thread. Now if we were to move on to Mike Brown...
