Didn't Jamaica try to recruit him for the last Olympics? If only someone would provide a link to a story that discusses this very issue...

Watch Greg Monroe play basketball, and, although he uses both hands effectively, he’s very clearly left-handed. Except he’s not. Monroe, via Pistons.com (hat tip: Detroit Free Press): Who knew Greg Monroe was the Phil Mickelson of the NBA?

I am alive, just that I have a life other than dealing with stupid remarks from posters who obviously don't have a life.

well, me for one....the dude is 7'2" 275 with touch Really. You had Roy pegged as an Olympian. Sure. Your statement included being in the discussion. Yes, I had him as one day being part of the discussion for the Olympic pool. Maybe not from his days at prep, but definitely from the time he got drafted. I don't see what the big deal is, predicting that a 7'2" big man with touch an incredible work ethic will have success in the NBA is not uncommon.

Roy picking up where he left off, scoring inside and blocking shots. Miami has no answer for him. The size differential is very obvious right now. And with Wade looking average, James has to do pretty much everything. I'm a believer. I think the Pacers can take this thing.

Interesting how the TEAMS are successful this post-season, not the superstar cores.

That's a nice theory, especially this year when you have Indy, Boston, and (sort of) San Antonio, none of whom have a top five type superstar. That said, superstar cores have won a whole lot of championships in the NBA.
The Heat's role players are awful. When Mario Chalmers is your third best player (now that Bosh is out), it's a problem. Chalmers certainly wouldn't start for the Pacers. Honestly, I'm not sure he'd even play with Collison, Hill, and Barbosa all able to run some point.

Dirk Nowitzki isn't a star?
Edit: I think what people mean by this is "it's nice to see the Heat lose." And I couldn't agree more. I just don't think it's because of Lebron.

It was clearly a team effort with Dallas. Dirk was great, but so was Terry, Chandler, Marion, Kidd, Barea, etc.
Wade and Lebron are on a 48 of 50 point stretch....not exactly team ball.

Too bad they won today...although it was Wade playing again that got the win.

Maybe not team ball but that was a hell of a two man display put on by Lebron and Wade in the second half. Played pretty much 2 on 5 on offense and still got whatever they wanted. The Pacers NEED Hibbert in the paint to slow those guys down. He needs to watch the fouls. He picked up his 4th (I believe) wrapping up Wade when he could have gone for a block OR just let him score. He's too important to give away fouls like that.

A 7th grade team could do a better job of getting the ball to Roy.
