Can he actually play the PG or is that a bit of a pipe dream? Would he be a better backup PG than Jabril? Have to say I like the idea of putting a lineup from time to time out there that goes 6'5, 6'5, 6'8, 6'8, 6'10.

looking at the reports it seems he can at least play the 1 as well as Jabril.

Are you blind? Man, I wish I had the talent to draw conclusions about a recruit's athleticism, future success, or lack thereof from youtube videos. Not yet. But if you think you can draw such conclusions, you certainly are..."blind to the facts of who you are."

I really like his passing skills based on the video. I hope we get him to Midnight Madness and close.

Bronxitos is unpaid scout and an expert. Those that are as adept as me see the same things I see. Not yet. But if you think you can draw such conclusions, you certainly are..."blind to the facts of who you are."

Bronxie is nuts.
I want that kid. He's 6-6 and can play the point with ease. He has a pg mentality and made passes in those videos that made me drool. He posts up, he shoots it from the perimeter and he can get to the basket off the dribble.
He has lift and he's fast from end to end. Dude is a 6-6 guy who fits this offense and can play three positions and play them well.
What's not to like?

Dayton this post was malicious and unnecessary. The day you lose respect for a fellow New Yorker should never occur. ;D Now to serious business. First video in the Boogiedown Bronxitos did not like. The short click at the extravaganza which occurred after the BX clip Bronxitos liked better. Still have to see more to make a final determination. When I see more video I will make a final ruling and close this case once and for all. Bronxie is nuts. I want that kid. He's 6-6 and can play the point with ease. Well I'm glad that's resolved, bronxhoya is going to watch a 3rd YouTube clip and correctly forecast a young man's basketball ability "once and for all."
I think when I speak for everyone where when I breath a GIANT sigh of relief as I don't know what this message board would do without your valuable insights.

You foolish mortal you applauded when we landed the Russo, Wattad and high top fade from Kentucky. You continue to cheer whatever kid we sign without being critical. Signing low budget kids is what has us in this bad situation we are in now. Bronxitos is a top notch talent evaluator whose good name cant be sullied by the uneducated. When he speaks you would be wise to listen. Mitch Kupchake does. What is in a name dear boy? Just overstand we have had long talks on talent evaluation on 3 different occasions including at the Garden during the BET and our crappy lost to St Johns. Bronxitos opinions matter and are respected. He listens even though you don't know how to spell his last name? That's curious. Wilberto you are not funny and I fear you might not be of sound mind. Dr. Bronxitos is a shrink in Lower Manhattan. If you are ever in the area and you want to talk about your envy issues please stop by. Because you are a Hoya fan this will be pro bono. Check your PM I am sending you my contact info. Were those "long talks" before or after you were tased by his bodyguards for getting to close to Mitch? What is in a name dear boy? Were those "long talks" before or after you were tased by his bodyguards for getting to close to Mitch? Is this true??? If so, it explains a lot. ;D Also, I'm sure Bronx had his spelling correct - he wasn't talking to Laker GM Mitch Kupchak, he was talking to Mitch Kupchake, the janitor at the Garden.

"I am starting to get a lot of attention" said Dotson, who has already taken an official visit to Texas Tech and is scheduled to visit Colorado this coming weekend. "Baylor, Dayton, Oregon and Georgetown are also trying to set up visits and I think I am going to sign early. "I am looking for a school where I can get a decent amount of playing time right away and somewhere that has journalism and sports medicine that's what I have an interest in majoring in right now"

My guess is the staff's enthusiasm for Dotson might cool now that DSR is on board. Probably wouldn't hurt to continue recruiting him, though, you never know what's going to happen.

I give credit to this kid for at least paying lip service (and hopefully it's more than that - I'm more than willing to take him at his word) to combining his basketball skills with his academic interests.
