The way this season is ending has tarnished my memories of this year's graduating class.

Hard to believe that the coach has so little confidence in Henry that we have Lubcik and Vaughn and nothing else. I have no more excuses for this team. I am a defender of team and coach, but the loss tonight combined with last year's and the flop the year before makes me at least acknowledge that questions have to be asked. Something is wrong in the preparation and the leadership of this team to play a game like this. It is not that the other team is making shots, but that we have no apparent answer. We lose to big teams and now to small teams and have shown absolutely no heart in the process. We have no rebounding and no outside or inside shooting. We do not get any loose balls.

These guys from VCU aren't good. Wait until Purdue whacks them.

We are slow defensively, turnover prone and shoot poorly

How when Hollis gets hooked around the head is it a push off on him?

The sad thing is, no one in their right mind should be surprised by this and that's what has me steamed right now.
JTIII has some explaining to do because this has become the norm.
I hate losing, but getting smoked by Ohio and VCU in consecutive seasons is unacceptable.

Dan--Davidson game--you got a point--this game--officials have had NO influence on.
Let's put it this way--after being thoroughly outplayed--Chris Wright has 2 FT to make it a 4pt game--and he misses front end of 1 and 1 and Lubick commits his 500th foul on a 3pt shooter and that was it for the "gang who needs to be loved/hugged". GAME OVER.
Lubick's been a complete stiff tonight. Sad--he looks so slow/plodding out there.
What the hell do these guys do in practice? Why so out of shape?
I'm embarrassed for III--he's in need of a major look in mirror and figure out what direction to go-because this CRAP AINT WORKING ANYMORE.

still need to watch JV/Austin/Chris ending their career with Gtown... What a disappointin career for those bright recruits we had... 2 MCD and Mr. Basketball from Virginia...
JT3 really needs to either a) change the system so these players can flourish.... there is nothin less of Austin Freeman compared to Nolan Smith... b) recruit diff. types of players.. not necessarily MCD, but more like Jeff Green / Kawhi Leonard / Morris brothers who are under the radar but have the bodies/athleticism/quickness to score/defend.

CW was correct. The ball came off of VCU's leg on the pass from Lubick. We're getting hosed.

Let's call a spade a spade. Prominent, big time/elite programs do not graduate senior classes with this type of postseason record. I hope someone kicks your rock before you crawl back under it. I do not want to start any sort of flame war, nor do I want to get in to the whole "I'm a bigger fan than you because I post on this board more than you" argument/ridiculousness that seems to permutate through this neck of the woods on a regular basis, but what was so outrageous about my statement that prompted your response?

Inexcusable for refs to miss that obvious call and then give Chris a tech. He did nothing worthy of a T.

I shudder to think how far we'd be set back if we did fire him. Dan, is putz acceptable board language? Yeah, if you call yourself that. So I guess 1st round tournament losses are OK with you? Because coaches who consistently make the tournament and have been to a Final 4 are growing on trees? So, yes if you want to to fire JT3, you're a putz.
