this game is pretty straightforward really. check brown and hoyas win. i think chris will be able to hang with kemba and make him work on d.
uconn is young and should be susceptible to a disciplined hoyas offense.

I honestly think we're going to roll over UConn. Not trying to jinx anything, I'm just saying how I feel. They're kinda a one man team, they're not playing great ball right now, we're so hot we're plasma, JTIII routinely handles Calhoun and I think this adds up to a 15-18 point win on the road. I hope the team proves me right!

Man watching them play PC, they just aren't very good at this point in the season. Query how good they were to begin with: The big wins that shot them to prominence earlier in the year were against Kentucky (17-7, 5-5 SEC) and Michigan State (14-10, 6-6 Big 10). Granted, they did win at Texas, which is very impressive. Just think they may be a bit overrated given that they shot to the top of the rankings with those two early wins.

Continued commitment to the defensive end both in the halfcourt and in transition is where we'll win this game. The last few games should have clearly shown the team that the tough games will be won on defense, as a great shooting night won't always be there.
The Nova game should be a good blueprint as to how we want to approach that game. Nothing but dogged determination and constant communication on the defensive end, and trust in our offense to execute down the stretch.
UConn is not playing as well as they did earlier in the year, but this is still a BE road game against a dangerous team.

Can't let Kemba do what Marshon Brooks did. They're two different players- frankly I think Brooks is heads above Walker who tends to score a lot, but also tends not to have the best FG%- I'm hoping for his usual line of 11-27. Nevertheless we need to guard him and not let him beat us for the easy basket the way that Brooks did.

I still think Kemba is going to be very very difficult for us to check. He's lightning quick and we struggle with guards that can break people down like that. We need to make sure he doesn't kill us. A one man PC with a lesser supporting cast took us to the wire.

I know JT3 downplayed Free's injury, but it'll be interesting to see what happens. I have the feeling he won't be able to walk tomorrow, so it'll be a struggle for him to be 100%. Hopefully, we handle business in CT, then maybe get Free a game off against USF.

Lets get out fast, big lead and give Awesome a little rest. Then he has one week to truly rest ankle and be ready for SUcks. Hollis at the three for a couple games isnt too terrible.

I hope it's not in the high ankle area, which i dont think it was. He was moving too well for that.

I've been looking forward to this matchup all season, despite (and because of) both the Hoyas' and Huskies' ups and downs.
Kemba will get his. The test will be if we're able to shut down the rest of their guys to pull out the win.
The Huskies boast top-15 eFG% defense and shot blocking, but they're not great at forcing TOs.
On the offensive end, they don't shoot very well at all, but are excellent offensive rebounders and they don't commit many TOs.
This will be a battle.
GO HOYAS!!!!
