ESPN.com: "ESPN.com's Dave Telep is reporting that members of the Kentucky staff attended Word of God's practice on Thursday in order to check out 2012 guard Torian Graham.
The Wildcats are starting to show interest in the Durham, N.C. native who will make an unofficial visit to Georgetown on Sunday for the Hoyas game against Marquette.
According to Telep, former UK guard John Wall made the recommendation to Kentucky about Graham. Wall starred at Word of God two seasons ago."

Saw him at the National High School Hoops Festival and I'm literally beaming that the staff is on this guy because he was by far the most dominant player I saw all day and he created a buzz among those in attendance with his performance.
A lethal perimeter scorer in all facets of the game. The one player in '12 I hoped we would at least check out.

The kid looks very quick, very long and very explosive.... The staff is OUT there on the recriting trail for real huh??!!

If Porter signs this year, the staff may determine that a ball-handling guard is the top priority from the class of 2012.
If so, not sure where this leaves our recruitment of Ochefu and Anderson, but I guess it is good to leave open all possibilities when you are on the list for premium talent.
And it is always great to be on the list of multiple guys, even if you don't have enough scholarships to go around.
Btw, I am in the camp that Hollis will end up playing for 4 years.
I wonder if the Bolden scholarship was a little premature if we are legitimately in the hunt for Anderson, Ochefu, and now Graham.

From the videos it looks like he can score in every way possible, 3-ball, mid-range, tear drop, and slam dunks. Does anyone know if he was behind the bench at the Marquette game?

I am a big fan of big guards. Makes you better defensively. Justin Anderson will never be a Hoya! Hoyas rarely get a second look from Montrosse guys. I say go after Graham hard.

No one has discussed Justin Anderson. The Anderson being referred to is Kyle Anderson, a point forward from St. Anthony's in NJ.

Hardwood, think the Anderson reference above was to Kyle Anderson--not Justin. Don't think Hoyas are that interested in Justin who really hasn't developed like most expected although he's still a talented athlete--just not as polished in skill set as he needs to be. Graham is a talented kid--but DC Assault connection doesn't inspire any confidence in thinking Hoyas have a realistic chance to land him.

ANd you are right. Anderson is not where he should be at this point of his career.

Interesting development--in Rivals update with Kentucky site--Torian Graham is reportedly going to join Boo Williams AAU team. He'd been with DC Assault and this certainly improves Hoyas chances--but he's not a lock or anything like that.
Lilly said he thinks Graham will make a college decision near the end of the summer and that he doesn't want to carry the burden of recruiting into his senior year so that he can focus on his academics.
He said Graham will play for the Boo Williams traveling club this spring and summer. He played for D.C. Assault last year.
