Agree that the press has worked more often than not.

Insult to injury that Bobby Knight keeps saying Syracuse as we're getting thumped at home on national TV.

JT3 must have Moses on the bench only as insurance if Vaughn or Sims gets hurt. He must be going to redshirt him if there is no injury. This game has been over for 5 minutes yet he will not play him even though Vaughn is giving him nothing on offense and defense.

Will III allow that from the start of the game and continue it through 40 minutes? Who knows. This HAS to prompt a change though, right? ;D I just hope no recruits attended the game tonight.

I think I saw the DC kid behind the bench. His name escapes me right now as I have just taken 3 shots of tequilla.

if anyone was still considering that Ewing Theory, Greg is on his way to his 4th consecutive double double tonight. Pretty sure our team can't claim 4 combined this year.

I can not believe that JT3 did not call a TO with 1.2 left. He could have run a play.....

Little things would have completely changed this game. Foul shots being the most glaring, some bad turnovers as well. I was expecting this type of a game today. When we are going through the troubles we are going through right now they just don't turn around in a week. Oh well.

Why can't we shoot anymore? Why? What did we do to make the shooting guards gods forsake us so?

How the F were we favored tonight? Obviously a Hoyatalker was making the call. Check the Prediction thread to see how many of us had GU winning even though we have sucked so far in BE play and had no sign of improvement, just our belief and faith. Face it, everyone, we are fanatics and we love our school and team no matter how bad we play. Bring on the next one!

Terrible performance all around. it started in the first half when we played no defense. JT3's scheme of playing a combined zone/man defense where defenders switch on every screen was scouted properly and destroyed. they down screened on the baseline all night and had 3 players on the baseline with 1 (usually gibbs) popping out to the 3pt line for a wide open three. since none of our players who knew they were covering, the man was always open.
The game was lost in the first 10 minutes. we had been so beaten that the kids looked like they just wanted to go home rather than finish this one out. Missed free throws and open 3's all night. This was embarrassing.

Our biggest problem is Freeman. Start there, he suppose to be the big east player of the year? He has been aweful. First half he was taking fade away 3's.. REALLY? Thats the shot you want to take when your struggling. It seems the team takes on his personality. He has to find himself, or medicate himself? IDK

I walked out of the arena at 57-36. I honestly don't know why I even stayed that long.

11 missed free throws.
22.7% from three.
Only 5 assists.
Very winnable game but the offense looked like 5 guys who didn't know each other no matter who was on the floor.
