I'm in....though I ended up with one of those brackets where I'll either look like a genius or a fool. Kinda talked myself into some of my picks. You mean like Pacific over UW and WVU over Wake Forest and LSU over Arizona? I hate my picks already.

You mean like Pacific over UW and WVU over Wake Forest and LSU over Arizona? I hate my picks already. Welll, I do mean WVU over WFU but really I meant more like Penn over BC and Nova over UNC. On that note, I'm going to go work on the brackets I'm submitting to money pools

Is it too late to add my picks now? I have an account but I can't seem to create an entry.
I knew I shouldn't have procrastinated, Damn play-in game......

Hey, whats with people intentionally making 2 different entries!!? Thats some major BS, you make your picks and thats it, no backup set!!!

I don't think the play-in game counted.
Maybe it's a maximum 75 entrants?

Alright, I figured it out. I just joined with the same account and it went through. Thanks for the help and good luck to everyone in the pool.

I'm in....though I ended up with one of those brackets where I'll either look like a genius or a fool. Kinda talked myself into some of my picks. I love that part about the first weekend of the NCAAs. Everyone's got their own "genius" system and talks themselves into picks. Then talks about it to all their friends. How "profound" are we for picking team 12 over team 5. And when our 11 seed knocks off the 6, it's around the office cubicles we go looking for affirmation--until our 12 ends up losing to the 5, our sleeper sweet 16 team bows out to a mid major, and we miss all four 8-9 games. YEE HAW!! Two things are enormously helpful in the humbling process this year: 1. The ESPN Sportsnation bracket, or whatever it's called, that gives the percentage of people who were picking games/progressions a certain way. Nothing like thinking long and hard about a tricky upset in your "system,", then seeing that 73% of America's going your way too (hellllooooo Manhattan over Florida last year). What's the number, either 61 or 71 percent of respondants had Washington going out in the Sweet 16. Well there goes THAT "thought process". 2. The fact that last year's ESPN winner was a 16/17 year old kid with a "system". Just so you know what you're up against. Like when I used to win those weekly $3/entry NFL pick ems against the 30+ partners at my dad's old firm when I was like 9 years old. I had a system, it had something to do with which teams' plastic helmets I had in my collection from the quarter machine in the front of the grocery store. And that great 2000 tournament, where the one person who had all four Final Four teams (that Wisconsin, UNC as eight seed, Florida, Michigan State year) was the woman from Wisconsin who wasn't a huge fan but was basically picking Big Ten schools. YEE HAW!! (I'm telling you, I got a hot tip for a sleeper Elite 8 team...it's all about the Terps).

My second entry really was accidental, as the name implies - only consider my first one legit as far as winning the group goes

I understand you people with unintentional second entries, but it looked to me like a couple people made 2 intentionally different brackets in the same group, which I think is idiotic.

I'm guilty. I had already had an entry and decided to put it there. Cambridge should crucify me now.

97 entries...quite a field!
Anyways, welcome to the First Annual Hoya Talk Bracket Challenge...the winner gets bragging rights for an entire year and will be crowned Holy Roman Emperor in a ceremony scheduled for April 1st. Their reign shall last an entire calendar year and to the victor go all the spoils.
Good luck.
