I really think Henry should start over Julian....Just tired of seeing his follies on a game to game basis stretched out over major minutes

But he went to war today against our bigs and ate us up inside. ridiculous That's my point though. It's not bigs, it one Big. Of course you're going to look good down low if you have any game if there is just one big down low. Conventional basketball you need 2 bigs (center and power forward) that can help each other out and cover for each other. You can't leave one big man on an island which is what is happening with a 4 guard offense. Thats why Sims just fouled out.

I really think Henry should start over Julian....Just tired of seeing his follies on a game to game basis stretched out over major minutes Henry has a better shot playing a 4 guard offense because he has more length/height/and leaping ability. But rather than doing that I'd just stop playing Hollis at the 4. That's the main problem but I think Hollis is playing their because of seniority where it's clearly he's a defensive and rebounding liability at the power forward. But that seniority is also the reason Vaughn will start over Sims.

@ Professor,
But he did that against Henry, Jules, and Nate, everyone....We just really need to get tougher down low

How many lay ups did we have in this game? Looks like 60-70% of our points from just watching the game. LOTS to improve on for Monday.

Most deceptive blowout ever That's the thing. Depaul is better than previous years but still not that good. Yet they were able to do damage against the 4 guard offense. We can not afford to continue to play Hollis and Bennimon major minutes at the 4 against the good Big East teams like Cuse and UConn.

@ Professor, But he did that against Henry, Jules, and Nate, everyone....We just really need to get tougher down low They were able to do that because you only have one big out there. There's no help. If someone blows by or outmuscles Hollis or Bennimon, then the Big has to go cover for that mistake and ends up picking up the foul or getting scored on. You have to have two bigs out there (Vaugn, Sims, Lubick, Moses), especially since we are small to begin with with the 3 guard offense (freeman, wright, clark).

I'll take the win, but defense, rebounding, and outside shooting were troubling today.

I would have liked to see what Moses could have done to stop their inside presence today. We were letting them get too many second chance points by getting OR and loose balls. We will have to play better Monday at SJU or else we will be 1-2.

If we are going to change the starting line-up, they should take Clark out, move Freeman to the two, Thompson to the three and put Lubick in at the 4 to help Vaughn.

Again, our 3-pt shooting was not very good, but better than vs ND.

I actually like that line up because Hollis at 6-7 is a good sized 3. Problem is I just don't think they would take Clark out because of seniority over Hollis unless Clark gets injured.

@ Sleepy,
Im all for moving Hollis to his natural position, but you can't take Jason out of the lineup....I just think Henry's earned his way into the lineup...he's played better than Jules over a long period of time....you can't ignore that

We will have to play better Monday at SJU or else we will be 1-2. They had 17 offensive rebounds to our 11 and outrebounded us by 3. That's a direct results of a 4 guard/one big defense and 5 guard/swingman defense (when Bennimon was at center).

I would be really surprised if III started Henry over Julian. If you've noticed, in many, if not most games, Julian is subbed out before the under 16 timeout. Others get minutes at Julian's spot. I just don't think a change in the starting lineup will happen.

Dajuan started over Pat after 10 games or so as a Freshmen. I highly doubt the staff is concerned w/who has played longer for Georgetown. If we are going to change the starting line-up, they should take Clark out, move Freeman to the two, Thompson to the three and put Lubick in at the 4 to help Vaughn. He's the worst defender, ball handler, and can't hit the broad side of a barn right now. Now the line-up that has no chance of ever playing together that I would want to see start would be Chris, Austin, Thompson, Vaughn, Henry. You move Vaughn to the position he was playing last year and take advantage of Henry's passing. Why Thompson refuses to play them together is beyond me, but he sees more in practice that I do so its probably a good reason. I'd still like to see it though.
