I am not a Princeton basher but when style of play is the one and only thing that causes us to lose out on a kid..it does sting.
think he fits better at UK than UNC. Calipari can utilize his athleticism better than Roy.

I think this visit is big. We beat UConn in front of a juiced up crowd at Verizon, you never know what could happen.

I will tell you right now, he did NOT look good today in a 10 point loss to Coolidge at the MLK Showcase in DC.

Yeah that's how it was in when I told people he was a big time prospect in last year's state quarterfinal loss in Northern Virginia to TC Williams. He looks really good when he plays for Boo Williams AAU.

If you are a big time recruit, why would you commit until you know who is staying at the school and who is going? At Gtown I would be watching Hollis. At UK I would be watching Gilchrist and at UNC I would be watching Henson, McAdoo and the host of other wings they've got to see if they stay in school or go pro.

I highly doubt that he goes to UK or UNC. His game seems to not be polished enough to command early playing time at those schools that are loaded with more polished talent ahead of him. from watching the gamelast night he seems to not be polished at all and more importantly he seems to not have a strong off the dribble game. All that being said I do believe that that the skill development that the Gtown offense provides would be great for him. He is a prime example of a guy whose game would blossom with some structure.
I do believe that last night was just a bad game. A very bad game. But he didn't show me enough of a next level gear that would give him any playing time in a dribble drive offensive style like the one that is employed at UK.

Imagine that happening to us and leaving Caprio and Ryan Dougherty out there all alone. Oh god.

All the people that you named will be long gone by then.............

So after watching him play one game against Coolidge you have now determined that he is not good enough for Georgetown. I'd hate to hear what you thought about Monroe after he got destroyed by Aminu on National TV and put up a whopping 2 points in a high school game.
I'll trust Calipari, Williams, and III. He would be a huge get - let's hope we put on a good show against UConn.

I really appreciate when people give first hand accounts, but people should really both acknowledge that they are both seeing a small amount of actual play in a varying environment and also not trained scouts. Before everyone gets all in a huff about the latter, it's not about not offering your opinion. It's about writing as if you understand that there's a very good chance you are wrong. Projection is a difficult thing.
