I have seen him play a dozen times. His team attended the same team camp as mine. He is solid, skinny but very athletic. Maybe he could play for us in a few years. Ill tell you he will get better. His team is very well-coached.

Troy went over to ODU last night to check the game out. (his rooting interest was/is for the Hoyas.)

Sounds like a good prospect, and that we have an inside track.

He looks incredible. Kind of reminds me of an aggressive Hollis. I say aggressive only because 2/3 of the highlights were of him throwing down sick dunks.

found this small interview here..really nothing new.. basketballelite.com/but, Phoebus lost tonight to Booker T Washington. on the year they are 10-2 and in 1st in the Peninsula District and Troy is leading the way on a veteran team with 19 points a game. 2nd leading scorer in the league. going to be a good one.

sidenote: Troy had 16 in a four point loss to Benedictine today. (which features Duke pledge Mike Gbinjie). from what I can tell, Troy held his own.

Troy was named First Team Peninsula District. showed a little love for the Hoyas on twitter last night, too.

That's an impressive feat.
While the Peninsula League is known more for being one of the most competitive public leagues anywhere in football, those kids play basketball at a high level down there as well.

Recruit this kid like any other and I think he'd be Hoyas to lose.

lost to Norcom 51-45 for the regional title.
not sure if they guarded each other but seems that he played Finney-Smith to a draw.
Troy had 14 points and 13 boards to lead Phoebus. Finney had 14 and 6 blocks.
Can't wait to see what the kid does on the spring/summer circuit.

Assuming this kid plays 17-U for Boo Williams this summer, could be interesting to see if he and Torian Graham develop a chemistry playing in the same backcourt.
