Give the lecture to people who are suggesting that corrupt and evil influences, illegal payments, misguided ethics, misinformation, crapy facilities, and vocal, active fan support/activity are the reasons why UK won out for NN. That's basically all the reasons I think UK won out for NN. Wait, so we didnt get Nerlens Noel??

That's basically all the reasons I think UK won out for NN. Fine. But you don't have any more proof to back up your various viewpoints than those who feel that tournament success made the difference in the end. Therefore can't you be accused of projecting as well?

Not entirely true. I like the position we are in once calipari goes to the NBA which I would say is a 50/50 chance right now.

I would say there is no chance Cali goes to the NBA.

Unfortunately that will be around 5-7 years too late for it to have any effect on Nerlens' recruitment.

Why? His name is hottest right now after a championship. Teams will go after him. And he will go if the job is right and the money is right. Just not sure that will happen this year.

He would stay because he is the hottest name right now.
-Reloading next year -Job Security -Still making a ton of money -Just started a dynasty
Or he could go to the NBA where the playing field is more equal and he will find himself on his way out in three years.

Smart move is to stay, no doubt. But coaches are often driven by ego and Cal has one of the biggest egos in the business. You don't think he cares a little bit about how everyone says he's not that good of a coach and just a good recruiter? People who know him know he has a strong desire to get back in the NBA, but you are right in that his current situation would be hard to leave.

Cal can not win with a salary cap. Thus he stays put and wins without such onerous restraint...

Nerlens Noel added 15k tweeter followers since committing to UK. Shabazz Muhammad lost 4k. $ aside this has to have an effect on any normal 17-18 year old KID

not only should this thread have died the moment NN committed to UK, now you have some jacka$$ throwing around unsubstantiated rumors about Gtown's programs and players. LOCK THIS UP ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Georgetown did not pay Greg Monroe, nor give him any improper benefits. You're an Edited for suggesting otherwise.
