a class of Quinn Cook, Rakeem Christmas and Johnny O'Bryant jsut got more possible:
Quinn Cook: I'm interested to see where my bro's @hooprdie11(johnny O'Bryant) and @rakeemchristmas gonna go. I'm trynna go w/ them.
Guess who's the only team who's on all three's lists?

Just out of curiosity, if David Cox is the lead recruiter on Tyrone Johnson, Rakeem Christmas, Johnny O'Bryant, Mikael Hopkins, Quinn Cook and Jordan Goodman -- who are the other assistants working on?
My guess is Kenya Hunter is on Brendan Dawson and Mychael Henry, but is that it? Does Brennan recruit at all? I realize he is relatively new to the program but is he on anybody? Here's hoping those guys starting getting their name out there like Cox has.
Edit: I should note that I claim Coach Cox as the lead recruiter of those guys given what they have said in past interviews.

He may still be learning the system and just tagging along with JTIII to learn the ropes, what we look for and how we recruit.

Very true. Hope this doesn't come off as me bashing any of our current assistants. Just something that struck me today while thinking about the major recruits our program seems to be on. Maybe the other guys are putting in work on Class of 2012.

Brennan knows the system - played at Princeton.
Hunter has pulled in some guys, including Bowen. He's probably on Quincy Miller (Bowen's teammate), who is probably the best player we've recruited seriously since JT3 has been here.

Better than Greg Monroe who was rated the #1 recruit in the country most of his time in HS? Also, don't colleges have a lead recruiting asst? As I understand it, some guys are supposed to focus more on recruiting and some more on coaching.

You actually can only have three coaches recruiting (away from the home area) at any one time -- including the head coach. So there's often two assistants who do a ton of recruiting and the head coach, with another assistant who does some limited amount of recruiting work and does more X's and O's and technique, etc.
My guess? Cox comes mostly from an AAU background and was only an NCAA assistant for a brief time before coming to GU. I don't know anything about him personally, but compared to Brennan and Hunter, who both have 10+ years as assistants with different coaches, I expect Cox' responsibilities swing stronger towards recruiting and less towards coaching relative to someone like Brennan.

Tyrone Johnson Myles Davis Rakeem Christmas Chris Coleman Myles Davis? Any reason you have him listed? Goes to my alma mater and looks like a great player, but I haven't seen him list GU. Would like to see the Jesuit connection come into play.

Saxa - I think so on the Miller vs. Monroe angle. I also think O'Bryant is stronger than Greg as a prospect at the same stage. The 2011 class is ridiculously strong.
