Wvu doing a good job of preventing Monroe from getting the ball. We need to continue to rebound and push hard... the threes will fall.

Ok first half. That over the back bucket at the end hurt.

Monroe needs to box out on that last play. Thats a killer.

Monroe should not have allowed Smith to go over him like that -- not a great way to end the half.

We came out sluggish and we're slowly picking it up. That foul on the CW dunk should be enough to fire us up. That was dangerous. Couple that with Smith talking smack to Monroe on that over the back putback and I think we have the fuel we need to wax these hillbillies.

Dear Austin Freeman: Please, PLEASE find your three point shot at halftime. Its the only way we have a chance in this game.

Got to give it to Huggins his team plays great man-to-man defense. Reminds me of Big John's team's defense. Good omen Monroe got to 2nd half with only 1 foul. Freeman's loss his 3pt shooting touch for now. If he gets that going in 2nd half they should be able to pull away love Chris's game right now. Really not forcing anything.

I keep seeing us in the offense all around the perimeter where there is just JV to rebound surrounded by 4 WV players. Need to get down low and erase the -8 rebounding stat.
Love the aggressiveness by Wright. If they're going to run the zone all game, hope he has a Syracuse-like performance again.

At least we aren't down 17 like in Morgantown. The 3's will start falling and we'll pull it out.

Eight days ago if anyone told me we would be down 4 at halftime of the Big East Final, I would have taken that cash and RUN. This is awesome, they are right there.

We really just cant run our offense thats the big issue here. I didnt like the nba threes, we have to find a wa yto get the ball into monroe... Really UWV is not that great of a team, but very gritty and tough..

Definitely tired. 4 games in 4 days catching up to the guys. But relax - Freeman and Monroe will heat up, we'll start protecting the boards and we. will. win.

I know this is a good offensive rebounding team, but they got more offensive rebounds than we got defensive and they scored 10 second-chance points -- not going to cut it in the second half. Cut the offensive rebounds to something reasonable and we win this game.

I don't care where you're from. You go to WVU and you're a hillbilly by association. I think it's a requirement to eat squirrel your first week of orientation and that's somewhat akin to drinking blood. That's when the turn starts.

This has the feel of an NCAA game. All defense and grit. Not alot of flashy offense nor high scoring. We actually have the better team despite our ranking. Only Butler can make consistent shots. If we can ge some O cohesion we will be fine
