We would have to potentially beat USF, SU, NOVA and WVU. Yikes!!

If we had played like we can we should've ended up witht he 2 seed. It's very annoying we went on the slide we did because we are a much better team than we showed thus far. Let's hope we show our true colors in the tournaments.

Well, I think you gotta have 8 locks from the Big East, no? That is pretty crazy. It's one thing to have 8 BE teams, but I think you have 8 teams before the BE tourney even starts!

I want to play USF again, and I have no problem with seeing SU[] again. I want to be in a position to ruin their season.

The Big East gets 8 into the NCAA. The committee's work is done.
On to the first round picks:
9 USF over 16 DePaul Upset! 13 St. John's over 12 UConn 10 Seton Hall over 15 Rutgers 11 Cinc over 14 PC
Which leads to:
12:00 #9 USF vs. #8 Georgetown 2:00 #13 St. John's vs. #5 Marquette (winner gets their mascot back) 7:00 #10 Seton Hall vs. #7 Notre Dame 9:00: #11 Cincinnati vs. #6 Louisville

Why are folks amd at Buzz? We're relying on coaches of other teams to do our work for us now?

I'd love to see cinci or uconn go on a run int eh BET and make it 9 teams, but I think it'll stay at 8 since uconn lost to south florida.

Why are folks mad at Buzz? He allowed a ND team shooting 1-17 from three to hit two more in the final 35 seconds of a game.

At least we have legitimate times for long lunch excuses.

I would be surprised if SU[] lost that 1 seed with 4 losses. Maybe Duke has a shot at it if they win out. Ditto for Purdue.

One good GOI today was a pretty poor South Carolina team winning on the road against Vandy, a team very much in our seed range. I think we want to do as much as we can to avoid the seed of death - 5 seed. Right now, for instance, Lunardi would have us playing Cornell in the first round.

USF is much closer to dancing than UConn at this point--3 more wins and they might get in. Naturally, we're going to draw the closest team to the bubble in our first game--all of the Bulls' weak program history will be on their shoulders for that one, and I'd expect that we'll be seeing more USF gear around the Garden than ever before in BET history.
UConn by contrast has to win the tournament to get there.

Are people serious about knocking SU off the one line? Zero chance. KU UK SU are locks for 1 even if Duke and Purdue take their tourneys IMO

I think Brey would be a fool if he put Harangody back into the lineup at any point if he's healthy enough to return. His team finally gives a crap on the defensive end, and it's not all about Luke-watching on the offensive end anymore.

Yeah i really don't like playing USF especially with gilchrist back. You folks don't like the prospect of playing any of the BE teams based upon coments all season long. Then again the way the Hoyas have played as of late....

SU undefeated on the road in college basketball...better yet, playing in the BE. #1 no matter what. on edit i see they lost to l'ville so forget about the undefeated on the road thing. But a run in the BE would still have them #1. And that win definitely puts L'ville in Id think. Perhaps one, maybe two wins in the BET has them firmly placed.
