It's good to see the boys not give up. I am proud of them. Thank you, jeeze, the announcers are better Georgetown fans that actual Georgetown fans. Thats said considering a Syracuse alum in one of them.

Once again we don't show up in the first half and turned it over 12 times to begin, IIRC. Can't figure out why we continually do that.

This game is competitive without the turnovers. 26 point leads are difficult to overcome to say the least

Is JT3 drawing up a play for when they drop the 25 point basket?

Maybe we should learn to "battle" in the first half sometime soon. Sigh.

Heart or not, this team is in total disarray right now. Wouldn't be surprised if we finished the regular season unranked. Hopefully, the time off before the Conference and NCAA tourney's will do them good.

This team is done.
I have been a huge supporter of his, but at this point you really have to start questioning the coach. This team has talent and is a total mess right now.
Pretty sad actually.

Mixed emotions with tonight's effort. Gonna give a pass to the team because it's clear a lot of them weren't 100% physically. However, a lot of the mistakes they made weren't physical, but rather mental. They gave us a valiant effort in the second half, and I honestly feel a lot better about tonight than I did an hour ago.
We lost this game flat out because of turnovers and giving up points in transition. Our rebounding was far better tonight than it was on Saturday (amazing when you play 5 guys who can move instead of 4!), but we just had so many unforced turnovers that led to easy baskets that it was impossible to make up (especially when you're facing a surefire deficit from the FT line on the road).
To echo an earlier post and to elaborate on it: it will be a CRIME if Vee is not our 7th man in the rotation following this effort. In my opinion, Henry (who is an automatic turnover and missed defensive assignment at this point) should NEVER see the floor before him, and I would even go as far as to say he gives us much more than Benimon at this point, who has really struggled as of late. If JV or GM get into foul trouble, I would rather go 4 guards and see what happens. Hey, if we're not going to be monsters on the boards anyways, why not just create mismatches for the other team?
CW really fought tonight. He knew that he had to shoulder a lot of team's responsibilities tonight, and he gave it his all. Not his best performance, but he did what he could.
Thanks for showing up, Greg. Announcers said you weren't 100% tonight either, but you battled. Earned a lot of respect from me tonight.

No idea what you're talking about, but it's predictable that you have started posting your deleted again once the team hits another losing streak. Have fun, man. You're always happier and more active on this board when things are bad. Have at it.

I see your point, but Purdue isn't 8-8 in their last 16 games like we are. Big difference.

Let's face, we had little chance of winning that game. The result doesn't bother me. I am glad the effort was there. Get well, Austin and Co. We need a Cincy win to build some confidence.

BTW, found it strange that Hollis' performance was so lacking given his minutes - one made three, two shots attempted and five fouls. Obviously no wants him on the floor taking shots away from freeman, but one would ideally want him to become more of an offensive force when wright is facilitating, monroe is double/triple teamed like he was tonight. With Benimon on the floor or even Vaughn, the team needs more options - when Monroe passed out of the double or Wright dished, the rock is too often just getting passed on. Hollis has the tools, length etc to be effective, but clearly more seasoning is going to do him good until he reaches a comfort zone. He has been getting more involved on defense, which we need, and for now we need that perhaps more than anything at least when our main options are on the floor.
