sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=4943587CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- North Carolina wore silver uniforms Wednesday night against Florida State as part of the 25th anniversary of the Air Jordan franchise at Nike. The Tar Heels are one of three programs that will wear the silver Jordan Brand uniforms this week. California is scheduled to wear them Thursday against Arizona, while Georgetown will wear them Saturday against Notre Dame.

You mean like our Yukon Cornelius traditional colors? Silver = Gray? Wonder if they will wear the silver sneaks to boot in celebration of the 145th anniversary of Hans Brinker.

I am considerably more J. Press than Jay-Z when it comes to personal style, but I really want one of those warmup jackets. LINKNot a huge fan of the unis overall, but at least the silver is close to our actual colors. Carolina without Carolina Blue is heresy. |

Henry looks a lot more cut in these silver unis, but oddly a bit shorter and with considerably less hair.

I like how mixed the reaction is. I think they look awful, but to each his own, and as long as we win, they can dress them in teletubby costumes.

What happened to blue and gray all the time (especially for conference)? Are people forgetting the black jersey discussion we had earlier this year? I personally don't mind messing around in out of conference games (non-tourney), but in conference I like it to be the classics.

I don't understand all of the uniform experimentation but I really don't care as long as we win.
