Those who attended today's game should be awarded the right to paint a blue "V" on their grey shirts. And big wet kisses.

Car stuck in a snow-covered street, Metro buses weren't running and the closest underground Metro station is an hour's walk away...during NORMAL conditions. Obviously I could not get there. But I am impressed and in awe to those that did attend. As a Hoya fan I may be in depth to those folks as well. That was special. The game was special as well in part because of the circumstances and I believe this victory will go down as a long-remembered victory for the Hoya faithful. It may also serve as an even greater bonding experience for these particularly Georgetown students with their fellow classmates and the Hoya team. Congrats to all of you.

Very very very impressed. Once everyone got into the building it looked like a home game. You would have no idea that the upper level was empty. Great job those who went. Wish I could have been there but considering they closed the outdoor metro stations, I was screwed.

I second MCI's sentiments about the fans (both students and non-students) that made it to Verizon. Props to the team for rising to the occasion, staying focused, and rewarding the fans with an important win and great memories. Proud to be a Hoya!

Great hearing the announcers say it would be like a neutral court.....only to see people filing in all through the first half. Great job to all those who made it. If I weren't 1800 miles away, I would have been there too!!!

In the postgame interview JT III was appreciative of the fans who showed up. It was on ESPN News. Anyone got a link?

If I weren't 1800 miles away, I would have been there too!!! I'm in Alexandria and might as well be 1800 miles away, which makes me even more impressed by the turnout. I really wish I could have gotten out of my front door!

I honestly thought today was a more hostile environment for the opposing team than last week against Duke. MAJOR props to all who braved the snow and were in attendance. Everyone who showed up was loud and vocal throughout, and that is certainly the most active I've seen the student section this year, and potentially in a few years. The students certainly redeemed themselves for Wednesday's showing, and hopefully today's result demonstrated to them that the crowd does in fact make a difference.

I honestly thought today was a more hostile environment for the opposing team than last week against Duke... hopefully today's result demonstrated to them that the crowd does in fact make a difference. both points I hope are not lost... I mean we were pretty crazy during the Duke game (at least my section and I were) but today we were just downright hostile. I'm sure the Nova players hated us after the game and that's awesome... and the second point is good too, the crowd I thought was incredibly supportive, never got down after they punched back, completely the opposite of the USF game. I think the rest of the home games this year will have good attendance (although the actual teams that we're playing make a difference to that end obviously) but it was key today...

Spent 2 1/2 hours this a.m. shoveling my driveway and a path onto my unplowed street in Alexandria. Strapped my 15 yo daughter in the back and slow rolled to VC, where i happily discovered parking garages were open for business. Worth every anxious moment.

only bad part was that they werent checking tickets and villanova fans were all over my section, 111
i didnt make any friends today
i will be the reason a lot of nova fans will saying that gtown fans are awful...sorry for cheering for my team
the best was at the end of the game when nova was still pressing and gtown was scoring...they thought gtown was rubbing it in...i tried to explain that nova was pressing...when they fouled with .2 left i asked if they should miss it on purpose b/c it was rubbing it in
