'Cuse at 9-2 with @bc coming up. A Pitt win puts the Orange at 3 losses. If we're in a three-way tie with 'Cuse and Pitt for second, we're a third seed. More importantly though, the Orange fall to fourth.
I suddenly love Chevy Troutman.

plus the better Pitt does the more impressive our win at the Oakland Zoo looks to the committee.

In addition, I always try to root against the Orangemen because I don't like them. At all.

In addition, I always try to root against the Orangemen because I don't like them. At all. I would expect that every member of this board could honestly write those words. The only thing I would do differently is use more exclamation points!!! ;D ;D Can't spell SUCKS without SU!!!

We're a winner however this game goes. If SU loses, we win because of the rivalry. If SU wins, we win because of the impact on the BE.

Hell, if Syracuse loses, we also win because of impact on the Big East... as we'll be sitting in a tie for 2nd place.

Nip and tuck throughout the half. Pitt 29-SU 28 at the half. Hack Warrick with 3 fouls...

McNamara just got hurt at the end of the half and I don't know if he'll be able to play in the 2nd.

Pitt v. Syracuse halftime they talked about bubble teams and Gtown wasnt mentioned. They talked about both ND and Villanova and said they were both in. Hopefully they have us as a lock?

As of today's Bracketology, ESPN's own folks had our seed higher than ND's in the tournament, so I wouldn't read too much into that halftime thing.

Absolutely. Right now, we'd have to play our way out. Any team getting a bye in the first round of the BET(Top 5) is in.

As of right now we are definitely a lock, and Im sure that's why we weren't mentioned. Now we just need to continue taking it one game at a time and keep on winning.

Cuse pulling away a little. Troutman getting to the line but Krauser is stinking out the joint.

Pitt wins 68-64
This means that we have the tie-break over Pitt for 3rd place, while Cuse is now only 1/2 a game ahead of us.

Great comeback --- the minute I said Cuse was pulling away Pitt turned it up a notch. Good for us, too.

Pitt wins a close one. Huge shot by Krauser put them ahead for good. Troutman was money from the line. And I loved the I in Pitt.

Great game, gutty win by Pittsburgh. I love the Big East, just a prizefight every single game. Great stuff.
