I just got my season tickets in the mail today.
The Duke game's ticket has a gray border unlike the usual blue and it says "GRAY OUT" all around the picture of a Greg slam

Signature required per the UPS tracking e-mail! Great, I guess I'll be trekking to the nearest UPS depot.

That's awesome! The Athletic Department definitely got that one right! This is my first year with real people tickets, have they done the UPS tracking email before or is that new this year.

I think it's the first year. A few years back my wife actually got ours stolen from her apartment complex. (We got new ones, but they were generic Ticketmaster tickets - no player photos).
Signing for the tickets is annoying, but I know from experience that it's worth it.

If that's true...
GRAY OUT FOR DUKE, WOOOOOO!!!!!
As for UPS, yeah I probably won't be home enough to sign, so hopefully I'll actually get them at some point!

I withdraw my previous gripe now that I realize that I'm front and center on the Cincinnati ticket. Carry on.

So is the ODU game included in the season ticket package? I realize the venue is McDonough, but for some reason I assumed seasons ticket holders would be given a general admission ducat to the game

Nope they never have been in the past. More season ticket holders than seats when you factor in the ODU allotment and the students.

This is two straight days now that I've been sitting at work when my Outlook tells me that UPS has been by the house only to leave without a signature.
so close yet so far...

KGHoya same here. Two racking e-mails saying signature required. I thought in the past they left a door hanger where you could sign and they would leave tix on next attempt? Am I imagining this?

Am I imagining this? in the past they have just left them in the door. i can remember thinking to myself, "wow im glad nobody decided to walk off with these" its probably way better going for the signature but its going to make me take a trip to the nearest ups office sometime next week

The signature thing really presents a frustrating problem for those who work for a living during weekdays. Perhaps a will call option might be available for a day like today at the Phone Booth.

You may try calling FedEx/UPS (or whatever it is) if you have a tracking number to ask that the signature requirement be waived. You may be able to pull it off even without a tracking number. Call UPS, press 1 for English, and then keep saying "representative" into the phone until the automated phone tree acquiesces. Sometimes they're willing to waive the signature requirement.
